Word has come that FReeper gulfcoast 6 has passed away. Toby was a regular member of the America The Right Way thread, and was a FReeper in good standing since 1999.
Toby had many friends on this forum and his wise, gentle posts and warm humor will be sorely missed. He has gone to his glory in Christ and joins his wife Treva who preceeded him in death and whom he lovingly posted about after her death.
Toby loved God, his dear family (who he proudly posted about often) and his friends. We will all miss him and look forward to the time we see him again in Eternity.
Rest In Peace, dear FRiend.
Guess they must have expired by now.

His post from 3 days ago was so happy. I feel terrible for not responding.
Me too.
I was hoping when I saw them.
Red 'x's' are all I got.
Toby had a heart of Gold and walked with God. He loved his family so much and was very proud of the children & the adoptions of the two little fellas to add to Allie who he beamed regarding in his posts.
He always missed Treva. Had some funny stories on his work as a cop. His most recent efforts in the collection and delivery of books to prisons was heartwarming
He was affected strongly by Katrina. His SIL worked at the casino that was demolished.
My pup Toby (stray that showed up) is named after GulfCoast6. When I would post about Toby shaking under my chair, GC6 would quickly add that, it was not the fact that he was back home & NOT under my chair.
We have lost some good people the past few years here at FR. Not everyone is a stellar political activist but most here care fiercely about the republic and Toby Wood was one of those.
RIP dear, dear FRiend.
For years his first post of the day was “greetings from the beautiful etc...” He loved his community & had such funny stories on the shack in the back.
Toby has had many health issues over the years and he often remarked how thankful he was to have another day of life. Here is a pix from a few years ago of Toby, daughter Tracy & Granddaughter Allie. Allie is now a junior or senior in HS.
I didn’t know him, but it sounds like he was an awesome man for the Lord; probably dancing on the streets of gold right now. May the Lord Jesus Christ give his family and friends peace and comfort.
Rest in Peace, Toby (gulfcoast6)
Toby’s family should know the love and care we send to them and our sincere admiration of his life and virtues.
Prayers up for him and his family.
Prayers for his family and friends. He will be missed. Thanks for letting us know prairiebreeze. This is very sad news.
Thank you for posting the obituary info and especially that picture, Dolly.
He was a handsome man.
Happy Homegoing, Toby! I’m sure Treva has wrapped you in her arms and hasn’t let go yet.....
You were a man of honor, courage and humor. May God have many more men of your caliber to take up “the good fight”.
Blessings on your family!
Pat
(((((((Prayers for Toby’s Family)))))))
RIP gulfcoast6. Prayers for his friends and family.
Oh, I am so sad to know he has left us, although I am certain he will be greeted with “Well done, godd and faithful servant!”
I spoke to him on the phone several years ago when he was in the hospital recuperating from a heart episode. He was a wonderful man, kind-hearted and loving, faithful to the memory of his beloved Treva, and a patriot to the bone.
It is sad to have so many leave us, but I am glad he will join Treva.
May perpetual light shine upon him, and may he rest in peace.
Prarie, you said it all. Toby was a wise, warm, gentle and loving person. He will be sorely missed.
May he rest in peace and may God’s light perpetual shine upon him.
Prayers for his loved ones as they mourn their loss and ours.
He was always such an upbeat encourager. I loved his stories about his family. It’s a comfort to know that he’s in the presence of the Lord at this very moment.
