An eyewitness tells Norwegian broadcaster NRK that he saw 20 to 25 bodies at the youth camp where a gunman dressed in a police uniform opened fire.
Andre Scheie says he saw bodies on the shore of the Utoya island where the youth wing of the Labor Party was holding a summer camp for hundreds of youths.
Scheie said Friday: "There are very many dead by the shore ... there are about 20-25 dead." He also said he saw dead people in the water.

maybe the TSA does have a point?
If the TSA had a point other than turning non-terrorists into submissive sheep, they would be doing Muslim profiling. But they are not, at all. I don’t know how you can even contemplate thinking that they are actually trying to prevent hijackings by Muslim terrorists.

Punitive theory is punishing Norway for participation in Afghan war and Libya op. Could be Islamists and/or Qaddafi.
I wonder if the Labor Party in Norway is the only thing standing between the Muslim fanatics and the leftist party (mentioned in the article) plan to attack Israel? That could be a motive as well. CNN bending over backwards trying to find any possible attacker other than a muslim...(eye roll)

The other big possibility, touted by some on Twitter, is that the attack could have come from the Norwegian right. The Norwegian far right were once a feared proposition but have been relatively mellow in recent years due to the success of populist success of the Progress Party.
I don’t think this is going to be so called ‘right-wingers’...but ‘right wing’ in Europe is very different from ‘right wing’ here from what I can tell. Thanks for the link.

In an article about the bombing that I just read, the reports of the Muslim group having taken credit were considered incorrect, so they’re trying to figure out who else might have had a beef against the Labor Party.
I hate to be right about this.
The CBS (seeBS) evening news just claimed the gunman was an ex-Norwegian military guy with a beef against the Norwegian government. A “Timothy McVeigh” type, as CBS called him.
They’re blaming him for the bombing, too. I wonder....

I’m pretty sure we’re right and there won’t be enough evidence to prove it (basically because the government will be in on it).
We’ll have to wait to see what happens.
