How Bad Are Bachmann’s Headaches?
fox news ^ | 7/20/11 | Steve Brown

Posted on 07/20/2011 11:25:13 AM PDT by Nachum

A campaign spokesperson for presidential candidate Michele Bachmann says a report documenting the severity of the Minnesota congresswoman's migraines is overblown. But, there has been at least one admitted instance of Bachmann being sidelined for days due to a severe migraine and other instances of her falling ill on the House floor.

In an article posted by The Daily Caller Monday night, un-named sources described Bachmann's migraines as regular and debilitating, often interrupting her work schedule.

Alice Stewart, national press secretary for Bachmann's White House bid, joined the campaign in mid-June, and Stewart says she has seen no evidence of migraines disrupting the aggressive schedule.

"We've been going six, seven events a day," says Stewart, "(Bachmann) has not missed a single event due to her headaches."

Stewart confirms Bachmann does get headaches occasionally, but "they are manageable with medication."

Kareem Abdul Jabbar suffered from migraine headaches. He managed to suffer through them and score more points than anyone else in NBA history.

"The GOP is really lame. Why are they trying to save all the socialist programs for the socialists. Makes no sense. Unless they too are socialists."

Enormous amounts of federal funding go to local administrators and teachers, social services, police agencies, regulatory offices and others. The Republican Party is more the party for local socialism, while the Democrats are more federally oriented.

TRANSCRIPT: Sarah Palin's RNC Speech
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2074322/posts

This was the spirit that brought me to the governor’s office when I took on the old politics as usual in Juneau, when I stood up to the special interests, and the lobbyists, and the Big Oil companies, and the good-old boys...When oil and gas prices went up dramatically and filled up the state treasury, I sent a large share of that revenue back where it belonged: directly to the people of Alaska. And despite fierce opposition from oil company lobbyists, who kind of liked things the way that they were, we broke their monopoly on power and resources. As governor, I insisted on competition and basic fairness to end their control of our state and return it to the people.

...supports extra, "early funding for [public] education" (Alaska State).

Governor Palin Signs Domestic Violence Legislation
http://us4palin.com/governor-palin-signs-domestic-violence-legislation/

Palin speech transcript excerpted for my previous comment,...

"My mom and dad both worked at the elementary school in our small town. And among the many things I owe them is a simple lesson that I’ve learned, that this is America, and every woman can walk through every door of opportunity...I love those hockey moms. You know, they say the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick. So I signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education even better. And when I ran for city council,"

If you don't like local socialism any more than federal socialism and want to survive the years to come, avoid buying anything that you don't need. Become more self-sufficient each month (especially energy, food and repairs), and learn to produce something useful.

This here is troubling!

“The ripple or wave of intense activity in brain tissue is followed a by lack of brain activity,” says Kraig.

Maybe she was in the latter stages..ie lack of brain activity when she hired Rollins...just sayin

What if the 3 AM call comes when she is at this stage?

Starve the Beast. The Rats must be forced in to a trap. Choosing between funding the enormous Federal command and control apparatus or paying out the Free Deal to their parasitic minions. Lets make a deal. Fund the Free Deal while they are weaned. Destroy the apparatus. To do anything else is to collaborate. The Free Deal has got to go.

How Dramatically Did Women's Suffrage Change the Size and Scope of Government?

JOHN R. LOTT Jr.
American Enterprise Institute (AEI) (download links for whole document at bottom of page)

September 1998

University of Chicago Law School, John M. Olin Law & Economics Working Paper No. 60
Journal of Political Economy, Vol. 107, Number 6, Part 1, pp. 1163-1198, December 1999

Abstract:
This paper examines the growth of government during this century as a result of giving women the right to vote. Using cross-sectional time-series data for 1870 to 1940, we examine state government expenditures and revenue as well as voting by U.S. House and Senate state delegations and the passage of a wide range of different state laws. Suffrage coincided with immediate increases in state government expenditures and revenue and more liberal voting patterns for federal representatives, and these effects continued growing over time as more women took advantage of the franchise. Contrary to many recent suggestions, the gender gap is not something that has arisen since the 1970s, and it helps explain why American government started growing when it did.

Yes, and it's a constituency of accusations and victimology in general. But women are being used by others, who seek to prevent domestic (American) competition any way that they can. They're being used against their own men: those most likely to tinker with things and start new businesses.

Overall, it's been an effort for socially liberal, globalist moguls against new business attempts by lower income families (middle and lower class)--not so much women against men in general. But yes, women have been goaded against their men by favored constituents and the politicians in their pockets for a long time.

* Trying to put all wives and mothers into the workforce made the labor pool larger and cheaper. Many Fortune 500s have filed briefs in favor of affirmative action. There was also the general refusal to hire men for many jobs for about three decades.

* Breaking working class families through the divorce/cohabitation regime and social programs is one way of preventing them from starting new, small manufacturing businesses on large parcels of land in remote areas. At the same time, elite, out-of-touch families wanted to end any and all criticism against certain social pathologies (e.g., homosexuality).

* Environmentalism also prevents attempts to start new, small manufacturing operations (mostly in local commissioners' meetings through relatives or former employees of big corporates.

...little reminder. During the Clinton administration, Republicans supported many efforts to send federal revenues to locales for social programs, public education, enforcement of new laws, etc.

I couldn’t care less. I know some pretty successful people who suffer horribly from migraines and occassionally get sidelined for a day or two.

Sidelined in that they work slower than usual but when they come back they are ferocious lions.

These people really only have two speeds: Forward and Faster.

They get more out of a day and even 5 minutes than most people.

I’m fine with her migraines.

have a Coke, some Fiorocet and lay down in a dark for a while.

My wife never has headaches

She just says not tonight...”I’m Tired”

“wasn’t this morning and this afternoon enough tiger?” is her steady refrain

I just act hurt and move along contemplating next opportunity to take her shopping...the move that rarely fails....or something to please her like the good little Quasimodo I am

Now when women..even in 40s want a baby....they will kill us...you have to hide from them...have headaches..lol

/embellishment

In all fairness biology in middle age is mean and uneven but I have no complaints and I doubt from the look of things that neither do
Marcus Bachmann or Todd Palin either for that matter

Women who keep looking good probably have less headaches of those sorts
Besides Fiorinal is your friend

I think couples who keep the lines of communication open (I know that sounds so metrosexual, but you know what i mean) and *get* each other and just have whatever it is that *spark* is don’t have those headaches. I wish I knew what that magic is, I could be rich explaining it. I think most people who don’t last are either just selfish or stupid. (or at least one of the pair is—hope I didn’t just make half the people here mad).
BTW why would a woman in her forties want a baby! AKKK!

He was. In fact, I have read articles where the writers submit that if he hadn’t have been assassinated, he wouldn’t have lived out a second term anyway.

I mean, the guy had a cholesterol level of 405.

Here’s more - and this is not disputed, it is documented: “By the time he was president, he was on ten, 12 medications a day. He was on antispasmodics for his bowel, paregoric, lamodal transatine [ph], he was on muscle relaxants, Phenobarbital, Librium, Meprobomate, he was on pain medications, Codeine, Demerol, Methadone, he was on oral cortisone; he was on injected cortisone, he was on testosterone, he was on Nembutal for sleep. And on top of that he was getting injected sometimes six times a day, six places on his back, by the White House physician, with Novocain, Procaine, just to enable him to face the day.”

Well A did not want our last one but I did my best to make it happen and she was mad as a jap for 9 months (at 42*)...I was 49.

Now she adores her little man and he follows her around like a dutiful little mini me.

I got up one morning and she..early riser..mad as hell with EPY stick in her hand

I fear I left something on the desktop I should not have maybe...I go in bathroom and she has about half dozen sticks laid out all with crosses...I mean really mad.

Her and my mom (RIP) were calling for a forced vasectomy..lol...I told em maybe at my autopsy if they liked..snort.

Anyhow...I love having children around...will have been doing it 40 years when this one leaves the nest...God willing.

making them and raising them...that’s me...but I don’t bear them...I got that...when I get mad at women I try to remember that

* her mom had her at same age

if she hadn’t had her tubes tied we’d had a few more by now...she and I are just a hot mess together..it’s give and take

but we put the union as a whole above all else..cept God..but it hasn’t come to that thankfully...that is the key..it’s simple

I was older as was she...we knew that instinctively

Love John Lott, Jr. work. More Guns, Less Crime started my interest into politics.

I agree with the article, of course but I go further with the Fabian Socialist connections at nudging our legal system in a definite Marxist (central control/totalitarian) direction and their purpose is to create a One World Government.

Marcuse writes about the plan to create a society which had to normalize taking women away from the child so the state could form their worldview. Control the ideas of children and you control the future. Lenin with Pavlov understood this. Mothers (Christians) had a tremendous effect on the transmission of right and wrong to children in the formative years....which was absolute. Get young children away from this influence and the state could create little moral relativists quite simply with the Prussian design of schools.....”group think” factories. Thinking outside the box is never allowed...you get humiliated and punished for it.

They had to destroy the absolutes....to relativism (Marxism) so they could control the ideas of what is right and wrong—and destroy the Bible and Christianity while doing it—because that would destroy the principles of the Constitution which are based on Natural Law and God’s Law.

Standard would no longer be that which gives us our inalienable Rights—it would morph into Marx’s allowed Rights—”Unjust Law” (unequal laws) because any time you have arbitrary laws based on a philosophy of relativism and NOT absolute truth, you destroy the Rule of Law (Cicero/Locke).

This took enormous energy—it was considered so evil to have children raised by anyone but biological parents—an ingrained natural right buffered by Christianity.

Ideas of orphanages were evil. Day cares—evil. Women who dumped young children to stangers—evil. So feminism was mainly about destroying woman’s biological connection to offspring—which destroys the emotional development of children (trust/emotion issues Piaget Erickson Freud) which in turn destroys a man and woman’s relationship when you have out of control children in the home.

Children devoid of adult role models (day cares) are immature, socially retarded, and lower IQ than those who have 1 to 1 ratios with caring adults. All IQ testing and emotional health is tied to formative years and the most crucial in human development for emotionally stable and flourishing adults and all future healthy relationship. More adult/child interaction=higher IQ.

Nature designed humans to learn from modeling their parents and teaches sexual identity and the teleological principle of nature in a logical, emotionally stable manner. Separation from parents in formative years creates high stress when not with close relatives. Genetics have always mattered....Day cares are artificial constructs to intentionally destroy the logic of nature, so Marx can destroy the meaning of biology and family.

The push of feminism was to destroy the children and get them into the hands of the state, primarily, with the secondary result that this neglect of children always will destroy the man’s respect of his “wife” when the results of her neglectful mothering is so devastating on the children’s moral character. Immoral kids destroy the home life—and make it unhappy.

No fault divorce was invented by Lenin in Russia to destroy marriage contract and make it meaningless in Russia when he took power...then he forced women away from the home and founded the concept of ‘daycare” for toddlers. We all know what type of people Communism created by just reading Patton’s synopsis of the Russian “character” which made him puke—he loathed the communists more than the Nazis.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I loved having a houseful of kids and would have had more, I had mine young. I just can’t imagine having little ones now (but I’m well past forty). Grandkids sound great tho. And if God saw fit to give me a little one, I’m sure I’d manage. He replaces energy with patience. I had less of that back in the day but more energy. And I think I’m a little smarter now. A little. I’m just not going to ASK for one. :)
