Tomorrow the Senate will hold the first hearing on The Respect for Marriage Act, which repeals the Defense of Marriage Act, thus granting to all lawfully married couplesincluding same-sex couplesto receive federal marriage benefits and protections if they are joined by a valid marriage in a state where such marriages are legal.
The president has long called for a legislative repeal of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, which continues to have a real impact on the lives of real people --our families, friends and neighbors, White House press secretary Jay Carney said at todays press briefing.
He is proud to support the Respect for Marriage Act, introduced by Senator Feinstein and Congressman Nadler, which would take DOMA off the books once and for all," said Carney. "This legislation would uphold the principle that the federal government should not deny gay and lesbian couples the same rights and legal protections as straight couples.

They started doing that to me right after New York counterfeited marriage.
Please don’t post content, per Admin Moderator. It just encourages the trolls.
But Canada has nationwide homosexual marriage, hate speech laws stricter than we have, and socialized medicine. Do you really want to give up and go to Canada, if you are concerned about homosexual marriage and other liberal issues????
Relax, it won’t pass. If fact, a backlash is likely to build.
So now he and Reggie Love can be married?
Me too MrB.....me to...
Yup, I got an e-mail from the zotted person. I think it was Margaret Hoover.
Horrible as this is, use it:
Black voters have ALWAYS voted against gay marriage.
Blacks voters THAT SHOW UP will overwhelmingly vote for Obama. But perhaps we can lower turnout by reminding them of Zero’s support of gay marriage, and the horrible unemployment that has hammered the black community during his reign.
Every hit we can deliver to his core base is (electorally) deadly. Do it!
Uh,since when is getting married a “right”? It’s not a right, just like driving is not a right; It’s a privlege. Where is it written in the Constitution that we have the right to get married,or to adopt?
It's not a right for us.
It's only a right for homosexuals.
The list, ping

He wasn't lying when he said that if elected, he and the missus would be the best friends sex perverts ever had. He is also by definition (and for other reasons) the worst enemy of the people and the Constitution.
Upon reading the first sentence and the referral to The Respect of Marriage Act, I had to double check to make sure the article wasn’t satire!!

Jack Cashill: Barack Obamas Missing Year
The things coming out of Obama’s mouth and white house are so unbelievable.
What will God say?
There is no gay tolerance in America. The whole issue is a lie. Every state that had the freedom to vote for or against homo "marriage" voted it down easily. Other states had it forced upon them. They weren't given a choice.
Political correctness was designed to silence people from speaking out boldly against any left wing special interest group - such as the homosexuals. Many people are afraid to speak out, because they've been lead to believe "hate speech" legislation is real.
(If you notice, political correctness fails to protect any right wing voting block.)
