Poor President Obama just can't catch a break. Earlier today, the president entered the White House Rose Garden to announce that he'd tapped Richard Cordray to head the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But then he told a bad joke about Cordray's past as a Jeopardy! contestant. And nobody laughed. And it was sad.
That's not funny, and you're a racist!

This is from the Steve Wynn quote that Sea Parrot posted, but it's also why we don't laugh more. People are scared of Obama and scared of the government, and they know that it's not permitted to make jokes about the Great Leader, who has a notoriously thin skin and looks for offense in anything. It's the same reason nobody makes jokes about Islam, I guess. Fear.
That’s the exact opposite of what needs to be done. Obama needs to be mocked always and everywhere all the time.
Based on my watching of late night TV, I can give you two examples of recent political jokes, told by highly paid, nationally known comedians:
1) "Boy, Sarah Palin in an idiot."
2) "Boy, Michelle Bachmann is an idiot."
I don't know why people don't laugh as much today as they did 30 years ago when presented with such sharp political humor.

That reminds me of Nixon when he had fallen from grace, he could have told the funniest joke in the world and no one would have laughed.

IIRC doctors stated during his first physical as president that he needed to cut back his drinking.

Yes, that’s true. The left seems to believe that spewing lame insults constitutes humor.
Finally someone tells the truth the whole truth AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. Too bad calling Obama a fear mongering socialist will have him apologizing today. When he deserves the nobel prize for shouting the truth. There was another reporter that called Obama a male private part and apologized.These reporters should just say I respect the office of the POTUS but not the POTUS. It would be refreshing.
I started a joke
That got the whole world crying
“Jeez! he is bobbin and weavin between those teleprompters, trying to act all homey”
It was probably a white audience.
His shuckin and jivin would have gone over big time to a black audience.
They would have thought it was hilarious and all be yelling “amen, my brother”

Thank you. First I’ve heard of his drinking, although I suspected it a couple of times before. This NASA video certainly makes it obvious. Must be a lot of pressure on him as he tries to destroy America right in front of everyone.
