California has become the first state in the nation to require public schools to add lessons about gay history to social studies classes, after Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed the landmark bill on Thursday.

The Democratic-majority Legislature passed the bill last week on a largely party-line vote.

Don’t you just love the way the Gaystream Media spins the news, the “first state to mandate ‘gay’ history” as if there will now be a tidal wave of states doing this?

Maybe not a tidal wave but there’s at least a 1/2 dozen that’ll soon follow suit unfortunately.

SB 48 hijacks history class to promote a gay agenda.
History about gay is like history about unicorns.

Are they going to also distinguish when the contributers of history are heterosexual as well? I thought we aren’t supposed to be concerned with what one does in their bedroom.

Sure glad they took care of that pesky budget so they can concentrate on nonsense like this.

The provision on inclusion in textbooks could reach beyond California, too, as many book publishers tailor their texts to California’s standards because of the state’s large population. The bill does not prescribe how schools will teach the subject, and Leno said that decision will be made by local school officials and teachers.

Gay rights advocates said they will be vigilant about making sure schools across California comply.

Carolyn Laub, the founder and executive director of the Gay-Straight Alliance Network, which works to establish gay-straight clubs in schools, said such clubs exist in 55 percent of California’s high schools.

“We’ll certainly be letting all of our constituents know about this bill, and when it goes into effect I can assure you there will be thousands of students” watching to see how it is implemented, she said.

Make no mistake - they will push this across the nation. Why do homosexuals think it is important to discuss a person’s deviant sexual behavior in schools? To push more children into homosexuality and to try to convince themselves that they are normal, even though they know they are not. I am so outraged by this. God will judge America and I don’t think it will be pretty. How did we let 2-3% of the population force this on us? It is sickening. I would absolutely not let my children be taught that homosexuality is a good thing. Thank God my kids are grown. California will pay. God is not mocked!

California students may not know how to read, write, add, subtract, or even speak English. But they will learn the nuances of Gay history if it takes every last dime in the CA education budget (which it just might).

Leftists completely control education in this country. I remember several years ago Dennis Prager found a history book that said the Hudson River was discovered by a Slavic explorer. Apparently it was more important to make this minority proud than to teach the truth. We must get back to teaching facts not Leftist ideology.

So happy to know that California has all its priorities straight. They must have finally solved their budget problem.

Isn’t this child abuse. Shouldn’t someone report these politicians and “educators” to Child Protective Services. Is teaching children that using certain holes for certain perverted things is good...really OK?

We have Satan in the White House and his dark angels working his programs in most of the states. It is that simple. Whether it be by nuke attack, some virulent disease, natural disaster or all of them, God will get his due....remember the teachings of Sodom and Gomorrah.

California is not the only large market for textbooks. Texas will never succumb to this immoral insanity, and we have at least as many children and California, which is losing kids because of their depravity. Other states are similarly staunchly against this perversion.

Because teaching grievance and oppression “studies” is going to prepare children to be free, productive and happy citizens, right? No, it’s going to prepare them to be part of an amoral, angry and uneducated mob seeking handouts taken forcibly from others.

I bet the chapter on 1980s-1990s era Aids/HIV is short, it reads :”IT’S ALL REAGAN’S FAULT BECAUSE HE DIDN’T CARE”
