GOP leadership opens door to homosexual rep

Homosexual Republicans are celebrating what they see as a major victory for their cause. According to the Log Cabin Republicans, the Republican National Committee -- which is the central arm of the Republican Party -- has named the homosexual group's executive director to the RNC's Finance Committee. That committee is the fundraising arm of the RNC.

The Log Cabin group says R. Clarke Cooper will play a "critical" role in raising funds for the party's efforts to elect Republicans to the White House and across the country. Cooper says he will be working to elect what he calls "pro-equality Republicans."

Bob Kabel, a former national chairman of the Log Cabin Republicans who now chairs the District of Columbia Republican Committee, lauds Cooper's new role and references the GOP's "winning strategy for 2012, one based upon inclusion and the conviction that with a big tent the GOP can recapture the White House." Social conservatives who normally support the GOP have often expressed concern about the homosexual group gaining greater influence in the party.

At what point to we just get up and walk out of the GOP? I'm almost at that point.

The problem with the log cabin republicans is the fact that they put their homosexuality first and foremost.

I see nothing wrong with this. If he can bring in the gay vote, that’s fine with me. We will need every vote we can get if we are to beat obammy.

Just more evidence that there is no national party that advocates for social conservatives. We are +30% of the electorate without a voice.

Did you see this part, genius?

Cooper says he will be working to elect what he calls "pro-equality Republicans."

What's the point of electing a Republican if what you're getting is the same as a Democrat?

Exactly. Next we can go after the welfare vote, the chronic unemployment vote, the criminal vote, and then we can be DEMOCRATS!

I echo the first post ... at what point do we just walk out. I KNOW the argument against a third party and it is a strong one. However, let’s face it. The GOP is never, ever, ever, ever going to be conservative. It is not going to change. For decades we’ve been asking for change and they act like they are going to do something and they do nothing. What did we get out of the Bush years? NOTHING.

I wish Sarah or someone who we respect would lead the way and start a Third Party. We keep this up, and the conservative movement will die. Because you know as well as I do what is going to happen - they are going to push Romney (and get him) as the nominee. He will pick some running mate who will tow the Romney line. And win or lose in Nov 2012 NOTHING will change. We’ll be here, complaining about it all yet again saying, “we need a Third Party.

We HAVE to start somewhere ... and sooner than later. The time is now.

I was thinking the SAME thing!!!!

I’m sorry, it is just not worth ANYTHING to beat Obama. There ARE worse things ... and what is worse is turing the GOP into the Dems.

The term "Homosexual Republicans" is used in the article. There likely are such things. (And I'll give credit for using "Homosexual" instead of the perfectly fine term "gay" which has been corrupted of from its original meaning).

But there is no such thing as a:

HOMOSEXUAL CONSERVATIVE!

Conservatives are pro-God, pro-family and anti-sodomy. Sodomites will not find any welcome among true Conservatives. A Sodomite can repent and with God's help become a normal human being. Until and unless that happens, such an individual is an abomination to God and to to Conservatives. Period.

What’s next—the man-boy crowd, man/pre-teen little girl crowd, toe suckers, beastialists? Man, the GOP is really struttin’ its stuff.

Welcome aboard. You’ll find you’ve come home.

The GOP has now come out of the closet. It is a full-blown arm of the demrat party. If there is any conservative who doubts that now you’re to naive or stupid to be a conservative. True conservatives have a brain they still use.

We lost in 2006 on account of half a dozen homosexuals elected to the House, or Senate, or working there.

The American voting public tolerates Democrat homosexuals but they don't tolerate Republican homosexuals.

I warned you that if you let the old money "establishment" stick this Preibus guy in charge of the RNC you'd see the gays coming back at the top.

Well, there they are ~ END OF STORY.

That’s sure going to get a lot of money from conservatives- not.

For a long many of us are contributing to social conservative Republicans, individually, rather than the Republican National Committee.
