From Freeper Advertising Guy (who requested I post this thread):
"It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you all , our Just Lori passed away early this morning in her home. Loris husband called me and shared the news this morning.
Just Lori was my friend and while I never met her in person, she was as close as a sister to me. Lori could be funny, inventive, a grammar nazi, or Queen for a Day. She was awesome.
May God bless her, her husband Walt, their friends and family and we freepers who so loved and enjoyed her love for God, country, and accountability in life.
Thank you Loretta......you were always more that Just Lori."
Lori also raised money for SE Mom when she was about to lose her apartment.
You are often entertaining when running your mouth lol :)
We have some great parties, at Lori’s and other homes, and have been privileged to meet wonderful friends on FR.
She was such a dear and generous woman and helped me through a very dark time- her kindness has never been forgotten and will always been remembered with gratitude.
Go with God dear Lori, you will be missed by many..
...
at 4 pm this afternoon Arizona time this thread will be printed and sent to Washington state to Lori’s husband
some who posted might want to know there are pictures of Lori, her family, and her home
I hope this thread will provide some comfort and strength for Lori’s husband - she was treasured by so many FReepers.
Thank you ag.
to read the prayer thread and later the Lori passed thread is sobering
evident is the reverence to God almighty from every single post
It was my humble honor to have known Loretta thru Free Republic
Jim thanks for putting “sionnsar” and “Budge”? On the Memory Wall. I am guessing on the name “Budge” from my memory of looking at the wall but my memory doesn’t last long. :-(.
Would you please also add our beloved “Just Lori” used to be “Spanaway Lori”. Her husbands name is Walt but I don’t know if he is a Freeper or not. Bay, do you know? Libertina, do you know so Jim can get dates?
Jim look at pictures also at #137 and #145.
Sorry to hear this, as I met Lori on two occasions, and she was a wonderful person in addition to being a dedicated Freeper.
advertising guy, I just sent the above post to jimrobinson asking him to put "Just Lori" on the Memorial Wall. I understand her husband is Walt, but I don't know if he is a Freeper. Jim may need to know a few details, like her birthday etc. I then saw your posting where you wrote the above, so figure you may know him.
That would be posting #208
I can’t recal Walt having been a user on this board. We were talking at their BBQ and I think he said something like, “Lori does enough for both of us” (don’t quote me/him on that)
I just ran across this thread. I’m very sad to hear that Just Lori has passed away. I know she will be dearly missed here at FR. I will be keeping her husband, family, and friends in my prayers. You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear friend.
