A boozy Brooklyn man was hit with hate crime charges Sunday for pouring beer on a newlywed neighbor, calling her an "Arab terrorist" and pummeling her husband, police sources said.
Following the seemingly unprovoked attack Saturday night in Mill Basin, Simchon Schwartz, 46, hid in a local synagogue and tried to fight off cops when they came to arrest him, sources said.
The Hasid even kicked out a window of a police cruiser as he sat inside, whining that "the cuffs are too tight," a source said.
"F---ing Arabs! F---ing terrorists!" Schwartz screamed when he grabbed his neighbor, Selda Turan, 27. He shoved the woman against her car and poured beer on her head, a police source said.
...
Once Schwartz, a car dealer, bolted from the scene, the Turans called 911. Schwartz's son led cops to a Chabad House on nearby E. 69th St., where they found the suspect. Cops smelled alcohol on his breath, a source said.
Schwartz struggled with cops as they dragged him out of the synagogue in handcuffs. They drove him to his house, where his neighbors identified him as the culprit. As Schwartz threw a tantrum in the police car, his wife made a veiled threat to the victims, sources said.

No. At least most of them are not. I didn't use the word Arab, did I?

So going to visit a Mosque and patiently explaining why they are in the wrong, is racism and violence?
Cuz I didn't quite see where ml/nj was proposing violence.
Islam is not a religion in my mind. It is a socio-political system maquerading as a religion. Practice of Islam includes Jihad (killing or subjugating of all who are not Muslim) and taqiyya (lying for the advancement of Islam). Neither is acceptable in a civilized setting.
Declare it to be a non-religion and the constitutional problems cease.
Yes, typically when a person violently assults another person, they should be convicted and sent to prison.
Sort of.
The Torah only prohibits eating pork or touching the carcass of a dead pig. And touching only makes you "unclean" for some period of time, I think; not for life. And there are instances where even eating pork is permissible. I'm not sure this is ever the case for Muzzies.

“There seems to be no such evidence that she attacked the children.”
Other than the two witnesses, you mean.
“What is the Manhattan DA doing about this?”
Not sure, but the Beck family has the option to press charges.
Just like a lib! Oooooh, I'm a racist. What "race" are the Muzzies?
As for violence, many buildings are taken down in this country and around the world. This is not always violent. But if our enemy resists, then yes, I advocate violent means of destroying his military installations. I would classify such measures as national defense which is a time honored tradition supported by nearly all FReepers.

With all due respect, what "race" is being attacked? There are Muslims of all races, though mideast types are probably the most numerous. But I've always considered them white (vs. black or oriental).
Shutting down a mosque a minute, deporting all non-citizen Muslims and keeping surveillance on all citizen Muslims would be a good start (should have begun on 9/12/01).
Yes, I am on the right website, unless this is a place where you have to bury your head in the sand and think about the world in a myopic manner. Strangely, I don’t think it is. You might, but I don’t. The only thing you “see me” doing is opposing stupidity and knee-jerk bumper sticker slogan type thought, in which consequences are not fully considered.
Point me to a specific post where I “defended the Islamification of America”. Oh wait, you can’t. (Just as you can’t show the existence of a ‘Police State’.)
“Yes, typically when a person violently assults another person, they should be convicted and sent to prison.”
Most people would not consider a shove a “violent assault” unless there was serious bodily injury which in this case, there was none. You’re just upset because he pushed a woman.
How do you stop the government from declaring Christianity (or any other religion) a “military organization” and then imposing the same standard on Christians? Homosexual activists are already calling for such government action right now, at this moment. So how do you stop the government from acting in that manner in the future once you unilaterally declare certain beliefs to not constitute a religion? What is to stop the government from taking your premise and advancing it to “a church a minute, until we’re done.” Doesn’t that worry you at all? If not, why not?
That’s fine and dandy. However, how do you stop the government from doing the same to Christians? If you can simply declare something to be “non-religion” the government could do the same to any faith.
I read nothing about your two witnesses. However, I did read that Mr.
Schwartz is looking at two felony counts on a violent crime.
That means prison time and prison time as an inmate who was violent against a woman.
It seems he also punched someone.
Not only did your tough guy hero shove a woman, but he also sat in the back seat of a police car kicking out windows and crying like a baby because his cuffs were too tight.
If he cries over tight cuffs, he is going to have a rough time in prison.
Military Organizations are recognizable by their doctrines and their deeds. The leaders of such organizations quote their doctrine while advocating that the followers carry out violent actions. Let me know when you find a Christian leader quoting Christian doctrine to exhort followers to commit violent acts.

The problem with this approach is that, once the government has the power to simply declare a (purported) religion to be a non-religion, religious freedom is lost. For that reason, I would argue that the act of declaring something to be a non-religion (and therefore beyond the scope of constitutional protections) is, itself, unconstitutional.
The guy in the article called his neighbor an “arab” when they are not Arabs but rather Turks. It would be like calling a Brazilian a “Mexican” and being charged with a hate crime. A good lawyer could argue the basis for the hate crime charges are bunk, imo.
