The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is being accused of retaliating against an agent who helped publicize the agencys role in allowing thousands of guns to cross the U.S. border and fall into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.
The agent, Vince Cefalu, who has spoken out about the ATF's so-called "Project Gunrunner" scandal, says he was served with termination papers just last week, and he calls the move politically motivated.
Aside from Jay Dobyns, I don't know of anyone that's been more vocal about ATF mismanagement than me, said Cefalu, a senior special agent based in Dublin, Calif. That's why this is happening. Dobyns, an ATF special agent based in Tucson, has appeared several times on Fox News to discuss the scandal.

Seems to be par for the course.
Protect the corrupt cops and punish the good ones.
I’d argue there aren’t any good ones left in the ATF. They are all part of a corrupt system. Sure this guy has done some good by reporting these actions. Another story says he got in trouble a while back for refusing to use information from illegal wiretaps.
He didn’t report the wiretaps, just refused to use ‘em.
Obama is not allowing the ATF head to talk to Congress.
This is HUGE.
Melson has been invited to appear on Capitol Hill, but has not yet been granted permission from the Justice Department to do so.
ok he did report the wiretaps.
He’s still spent 30 years stomping on the Constitution. They should all be digging ditches in southern Mississippi.
If this is true it just supports King Obama is a communists black Muslim.
Obama is not allowing the ATF head to talk to Congress.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Obama thinks that Congress is full of knuckle under wimps.
He may be right. We will have to see. Congress could have Obama on this one, BIG TIME.Impeachment is a very good word.
With a half way competent lawyer & copies of the documents that he has already turned over to Congress plus copies of Congressional testimony before Issa’s & Grassley’s committees this guy wont have to work another day of his life .
Sadly the idiots that are trying to screw with him will not be fired but instead will most likely get a promotion.
I was hoping Issa would get the job done with investigations with real teeth. I sure haven't seen much results.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Gunwalker equals Watergate times Iran/Contra.
And the MSM is in coverup mode with the scoundrels!
I thought that there was a whistleblower law that prevented companies and agencies from retaliating against people who revealed illegal activity by the company.
There is also a Constitution that prevents armed agents of the state from violating our civil rights, but...
IMHO, Issa likes to huff and puff and swagger around, but when the chips are down he whimps out. Granted, he’s the only one with the stones to take it THIS far, but getting to the point where we all know what a criminal activity it was, but not even being able to get any of the perps to appear before Congress strikes me as pretty whimpy.
I believe there are legal tools he could use to COMPEL things to happen, but for unknown reasons, won’t use them. If something of this magnitude is permitted to be swept under the rug, the Country is done-for!
Back room deals. DC is corrupt, our Federal Government is corrupt.
There is the Extradition Treaty we have with Mexico. They (Mexico) have Capital Crimes that are connected with Fast & Furious.

It is like WalpinGate but even worse.I didn’t think it could get worse than that!
