The Talk Shows
June 26th, 2011
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): 2012 presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J.; Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Jim Webb, D-Va.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.; House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich.
WHY THE HELL IS BACHMAN GOING ON CBS????
JUST DONT BOTHER WITH THE LIBERAL MEDIA
Wallace (RomneyBOT misogynist):
"Why are you a front runner?
You and Romney are out? front what is the choice?"
Bachmann: "I.. I.. I.. I.. I.. "
(No mention against RomneyCARE or Romney)
Wallace (RomneyBOT Romney-defender):
"Are you suggesting that Romney is not sincere?"
(Bachmann avoids comment.)
Wallace (RomneyBOT operative):
"We will address the other candidates later."
Then, astonishingly, With Fox's RINO Romney safe,
Wallace begins his fierce attack on Ms. Bachmann
and her husband.
FOX NEWS? Biased of 'out the gate'.
Ms. Bachmann? Not vetted by Fox
but clearly running for Romney's VP.
Same sex marriage?
She believes marriage is between a man and a woman. Also believes people should decide on this issue.
She refers to 10th amendment and belief in states rights. Wants Constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.
She won’t let Wallace interrupt her answer.
FNS
When Wallace isn’t liking Bachmann’s response, he tries to interrupt, to change the direction.
He is trying to get her to attack the other GOP candidates.
I think it was another missed opportunity, but not altogether unexpected. Her vote on ethanol subsidies and her unwillingness to shut down the government during the CRA should give people pause. But it won't.
I am not convinced that Mrs. Bachmann is a small government conservative, but rather a targeted government Republican.
Yep, people here will tell me I'm FOS, but you know what? it won't be the first time and it certainly won't be the last time.
How we all miss Wallace asking Romney his favorite color.
She’s disappointed that Romney wouldn’t sign the pro-life pledge.
She has a “titanium spine” on what it takes to turn the economy around.
Asking her about her gaffes...”Are you a flake?”
She says that is insulting.
Did Wallace just call her a flake?
Are you a flake? What kind of question is that? Would he ever ask a Democrat that question? Outrageous!!
Pray for America
FNS
Wallace brings up gaffes.
57 states
10,000 killed by a tornado in a Kansas town of 1,000
etc etc etc
Then, there is the gaffe-prone Biden
==
Wallace asks Bachmann if she is ‘flakey’. [How crude!]
What composure she has! Wow!
“Are you a flake?”
I would have smacked him, or walked off the set.
Other than for sheer entertainment value, polls at this point are worthless. The only people paying attention are political news junkies like ourselves.
Don’t believe me? Stop random shoppers going into a store and ask them to name three of the Republican Presidential candidates. You’ll get lots of blank stares.
Wallace should conduct these interviews wearing a ‘MITT 2012’ t-shirt...
Thanks A B
still lurking and reading late.. 8^)
Let me guess... that holding pen has a massage table, doesn't it?
Edited:
FNS
Wallace brings up gaffes, ignores:
57 states
10,000 killed by a tornado in a Kansas town of 1,000
etc etc etc
Then, there is the gaffe-prone Biden
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz) says the GOP is pushing
ROMNEY’s IDEAS of calling TAXES, ‘fees’.
WTF
This is terrifying. New taxes disguised as FEES.
I don’t watch the Sunday shows because I don’t watch TV. But I hope ABC takes Cluburn to the mat over the Boeing/NRLB/South Carolina/union issue.
