And this was off-the-cuff. This wasn’t some dumb staffer loading factual mistakes into the teleprompter. The assumption behind this statement is wrong. It assumes that 0bama would be less likely to make a mistake off prompter than he would reading what someone else wrote.

He’s probably like a lot of people (myself included) - he’s good at remembering stuff he cares about and not so good at stuff he’s not interested in. I think that’s human nature. Ask him about rap lyrics, NBA hoops, ESPN shows, or koran verses and he’d probably be pretty astute.
Names of people who gave the supreme sacrifice for their country - err - not so much.

He’s also lazy. He’s always golfing, playing basketball, vacationing, or raising money for his next campaign a year before he needs to. You rarely ever see him really working. He’s either campaigning or doing a speeches. When the health care bill was being worked out, you saw prince harry and nancy doing all the work. He sends his vice president who is more or less window dressing and or dress rehearsal just in case, to do the heavy lifting for the economy while o’bama goes and plays.
