The assumption behind this statement is wrong. It assumes that 0bama would be less likely to make a mistake off prompter than he would reading what someone else wrote.

The assumption behind this statement is wrong. It assumes that 0bama would be less likely to make a mistake off prompter than he would reading what someone else wrote.

The first statement is factually correct. The WH acknowledged the gaffe, saying the remarks were unprepared and no teleprompter was used. They also failed to apologize for the mistake. What this points to is that Obama felt it unnecessary to prepare his talk to the troops. Evidently, they aren't worth the effort. Also, it shows that he'll err mightily on his own, and his human prompters and preparers will err mightily on their own (in addition to his gaffes).

So, regardless how one looks at it, this administration is the most incompetent ever, and it begins at the head.
