Teen fatally shot while trying to rob off-duty cop (Clown 1, Teen 0)

An off-duty Chicago police officer dressed up as a clown for a South Side fundraiser shot and killed a teen who held him at gunpoint tonight after the event, authorities said, citing preliminary information.

The officer, who is assigned to the Near North police district, was in his clown outfit for a fundraiser for a day-care business, attended by about 50 children near West 87th Street and South Damen Avenue.

This clown just happened to be a police officer with a gun.

Why can’t other clowns carry weapons to protect themselvs from Chicago’s criminal element.

Its a Constitutional right that is being denied most citizens in this country. Concealed Carry is our best hope in place’s like Chicago.

Although I do not need a weapon in my hometown, when I go to Baltimore I would carry if allowed to. I should be allowed to. Not in Maryland, Unless you know a State Police Officer who can get you a license.

Actually, the officer took the gun from the perp.

I guess the kid didn’t get the news that it’s illegal for virtually anyone to own a gun in Chicago.

Somehow, this makes the article even more inspirational and uplifting. I guess this gets another one of those dangerous guns off the streets!
