Doubling down on RomneyCare, confirming that he believes in climate change, now this. Say this for him: At least hes not a total pander machine this time around. He just seems to be in the grip of a political death wish. I cant even explain this in terms of him wanting to stick by a position he espoused in the past in order to signal to voters that hes authentic and wont bend on his principles easily. His position, ostensibly, is that hes pro-life. This makes him look like hes inching back towards his pro-choice past. Is he in fact pandering to centrists here, with an eye already towards the general election, or what?
Coming soon from Pawlenty, presumably: A nasty tweet ripping Mitt for forever flip-flopping on abortion, followed by a whole lot of stammering at the next debate. Bachmann, however, just might lay him out.
The [Susan B. Anthony List] pledge also states that a candidate will, if elected president, nominate pro-life persons to relevant Cabinet and Executive Branch positions, in particular the head of National Institutes of Health, the Department of Health & Human Services, and the Department of Justice. Such a provision, Saul said, would restrict Romneys ability to choose his Cabinet.

Or maybe he thinks tea partiers will line up for him if hes the nominee no matter what he says or does which, according to Rasmussens new poll, might be true!
It worked for Ahnold in the CA Recall election. Heck many on FR were attacking us claiming that a vote for McLintock, the conservative candidate, was a vote for Bustamante, the Rat candidate. Don’t be mad at Romney for playing bots like a violin - he’s going with what works.
Really? and some top Florida pubbies just endorsed him. Obamneycare anyone?
bump
During media interviews in the 2008 campaign, Palin made it clear that she supported TARP. She defended McCain’s vote in favor of TARP.
Do you suppose the RNC and GOP have a Romney nomination lined up? Independents, for one, will not be amused. A choice between extreme liberal and moderate liberal are not what voters fought for in 2010. The RINO elites better get their heads out from between their legs and rethink their strategy. They'll be gambling with our nation up for grabs with the possibility of third party votes cast in utter disgust. Romney is clearly the democrat's preferential candidate to run against Obama. Al Gore chimed in this week - which is a clue no one should have missed.
No mention in this excerpt of the fact that Herman Cain didn’t sign it either, I see.
Yes, that shows that she initially supported TARP.
It shows that she doesn’t support TARP.
Big surprise from Mr. Waffle House—NOT.
Strange omission - Cain refused to sign it too. Not a Romney fan by any stretch of the imagination, but if it’s bad for Romney to do it, so it is for Cain. Speak up you Cain fans.

Damn straight.
We are so screwed if this RINO gets the nod.
ReneeLynn, you know what Media Matters is, don’t you?
Oh, and consider yourself highly commended.
Cheers!
I know, but it was the only place I could find the quotes from Sarah on TARP. Not their version, but the bits they quote.
“What does the phrase pro-life in the pledge mean? Does it mean no abortion to save the life of the mother?”
Abortion necessary to save the life of the mother is a canard.
There are no such instances. If for some reason a baby needs to get hurriedly pulled out or have a caesarian, this does not kill the mom.
Life support needs to be given to mother and child. You don’t have to pick just one.
Yep. Shove them up his no shine zone!
The only thing you can get elected to will be javelin catcher.
Damn! That is a good idea!
But Romney’s whole identity is currently bound up with him
having convinced himself that he’s “in line” with the Tea Party. (Maybe he was thinking of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland)In the nightmare scenario of Romney being OUR nominee it’s even worse because the Dems
will possibly abandon Obama and nominate a DINO to run against a RINO, and then we’ll have to watch the DINO turn into a handmaiden of the same Obama Agenda we’ve all been watching for 2 1/2 years.
