Palin cheerleader John Ziegler arms Mama Grizzly's detractors by admitting that she can't win the 2012 presidential election
One of Sarah Palin's most ardent supporters talk-radio host and filmmaker John Ziegler dropped a bombshell on Monday, saying Todd Palin asked him to consider working on his wife's presidential campaign, but that he rejected the offer because "there is absolutely no way that she can be elected." Ziegler, who made a pro-Palin documentary in 2009, was one the few people who publicly defended the former Republican vice presidential candidate when she resigned as Alaska's governor. But now he says at The Daily Caller that the decision will help Palin's enemies in the media portray her as a quitter. Is Ziegler's pessimism a sign that Palin can't win?

"Palin cheerleader John Ziegler arms Mama Grizzly's detractors by admitting that she can't win the 2012 presidential election" Formerly trusted Palin supporter, and back-stabber extraordinaire, John Ziegler, gives aid and comfort to America's leftist enemies by making the wild-assed, delusional claim that "she can't win the 2012 presidential election."

If this story is true then it indicates that she is going to run.

It was a dumb article to write on a number of levels. How is it that a guy who's been criticizing media and it's dominance over politics now echoes the same mantra as the rest of the media? If Palin does run, Ziegler's stock would have risen as a Palin analyst. Most curious, he's personally supporting a milk toast Moderate, whom he calls a Conservative candidate (Pawlenty).
Lastly, look where he works now. The Daily Caller is an “establishment Conservative” site who's been running anti Palin pieces since election season began.
I used to view Ziegler as one of the good guys for Conservative causes. Now, not so much.

The deal he made with whoever was to say it publicly. If he were a of a some what respectable character - he wouldn’t have taken that approach.
To: a fool in paradise
At this time it’s as stupid to say Palin or any of the others can’t win as to say they are sure to win. Ziegler said this for a reason that I don’t know.

An honorable person wouldnt change sides and then get publicity for himself by giving interviews to all the Sarah hating media. Bingo. Ziegler has crossed the Rubicon into a very dark place. Only Democrats will trust or break bread with him, from this point forward.
Buh bye, Zig.

I hate to admit it but he may be right.
The LSM will do everything possible to demean SP while hiding all the warts of the muslim in chief's foibles.
In addition, it is very possible many in the GOP will work against her as she does not fit their mold and certainly would upset the cozy behind closed doors relationship the RINOs and the Rats seem to have.
Saul Alinsky tactics will be used at every turn. Remember that POS instructs our enemy within to monitor EVERYTHING your opponent writes, say, does as nobody can be perfect 100% of the time. Then take any of those errors and beat them like a drum.
One can only imagine how different things would have been if the vile Saul Alinsky tactics were used against the muslim in chief.

You know, I can understand a bit of backstabbing for political advantage. I do NOT approve of it, but I can understand it.
What I do not understand is guys like Ziegler who do this kind of thing, with no realistic prospects of hurting anyone but themselves.
Does he expect to be paid off by Obama? If so, the favor will only last for a little while, and then he’ll just be on the beach, another washed up has-been.
Stupid, really. Just shut up, Stupid.

This is stupid.
The Revolutionary War was unwinnable two years before Yorktown.
Sarah Palin cannot win .... NOW.
Check in again next summer.

Well....
back in 'ought8, I declared that Brack Obama was unelectable.
There's no way the American people can be so stupid as to elect a reprobate who sat for 20 years listening to a loudmouthed, bigoted, American hating black liberation so called preacher, was a product of affirmative action, never having to do anything except look black, "student",whose only "job" was to go into the getto and "organize" malcontents to protest, and in the extreme, do riots....and be a minor U.S. Senator for a couple of weeks said I.
....and damn, look what happened to my prediction.
...soooo....
...just what voodo spells makes John Ziegler be so sure that absolutely anyone whose at least 35 years old you can pick at random is "unelectable" as POTUS?
If Zer0 can get elected, hell, anyone can.

Hey Johnny, sit back and watch your analysis dry up - and your name with it.
I think the day after the election, crow pie will be the #1 menu choice for the naysayers.

There was once no way Clinton could be elected, and there was a time no-one thought Obama could get elected, and there was no way McCain could get the nomination, so claiming 'absolutely no way' Palin can get elected is just blowing smoke. I assume the writer has someone else in mind.

Not Obama. I imagine Ziegler is looking to attach himself to an ‘establishment’ candidate. He is not interested in the GOP winning he is interested in making himself acceptable to ‘establishment Republicans’ so he can have a career in DC. Even if the party shirks to 1964 levels there still will be ‘official Republicans’. Those are the ones who control the paid jobs. Ziegler has made a strategic decision. A real smaller government Republican can't get traction within the party and the media will marginalize them. So one attaches oneself, remora like, to the fish who will survive. The larger message is that politics as usual will triumph and there is no chance in really reducing the burden of the state, i.e. Obamacare will not be defended, the incandescent light bulb (and lots more) will be outlawed in the name of ‘energy independence’ an most of all the powerful influences in industry and finance who work both sides of the street will collaborate with the polihacks and statists to stifle us with a corporatist regime. Unless of course a tipping moment arrives and the dollar tanks and the economy does implode and then all bets are off.

The only way there is ‘absolutely no way’ Palin can win is if she doesnt run.
Given Newt is ‘running’ and Rudy is ‘running’ who are both
losers it seems silly to me to tell Palin not to run.

LOL!! Those were my thoughts/words at the time! Actually, I still found it hard to believe.

Oh... thanks for the link!
I still wonder if he’ll be approached to serve in The Palin Administration. Hope so. Press Secretary would be good. And I nominate Tammy Bruce to manage strategy, as she’s actually been on the Dark Side and knows how they play their evil game.

Good point! What if election day turns out to be like her book tour where many camped overnight - this time to vote for her! LOL!
Rudy's running? I thought Newt's team up and quit?
