Michele Bachmann
Bachmann is serving her 3rd full term in the U.S. House. Founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, she earned a Master of Laws degree, worked as a tax attorney, and was a foster mother for 23 teenagers. She is a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Herman Cain
Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He lost the Georgia Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He was recently the host of Atlanta-based radio show.
Newt Gingrich
Gingrich served as the 58th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. He represented Georgia's 6th congressional district as a Republican member from 1979 to 1999. He has a PhD in modern European history.
Ron Paul
Paul is serving his 11th full term in the U.S. House. He’s an obstetrician-gynecologist and was the Libertarian nominee for president in 1988. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008
Tim Pawlenty
Pawlenty served two terms as governor of Minnesota, from 2002 to 2010. He served in the Minnesota House from 1992 until 2002. He is the son of a truck driver.
Mitt Romney
Romney was the 70th Governor of Massachusetts (2003 to 2007) and former CEO of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008. He has an MBA (Harvard) and JD (Harvard Law).
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
Cain asked about support for TARP, doesn't believe in "too big to fail" thinks Obama failed by picking "winners and losers."
Romney asked about if the "bailout program" was a success. He said no, it wasted money. He preferred bankruptcy reorganization. Attacking Obama for giving GM to the UAW.
Bachmann says she fought against TARP.

CNN is treating Romney like he is 3% in the polls.
I know all of these folks are flawed. Newt, Mitt, Ron, and the rest...none of them are perfect candidates.
ALL of them will be a better President than that moron Hussein.
King is terrible. Won’t let anyone finish. This could be a great debate but it’s not because John King keeps interrupting.

King is driving me crazy. If a candidate gives a so-so answer, he lets them talk. If a candidate gives a strong, impassioned, principled answer, all of a sudden, it’s King — “Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh-Uh”
Romney’s such a dweeb. Look at him. Anybody who says “I will vote for Mitt Romney” is a mental defective.
King sounds like he has Tourettes, (no offense to Tourette sufferers).
I do NOT want Perry anywhere near DC.
He interrupts because he doesn’t like the answers.
King needs to be caned off stage. He’s like, “Quickly” and “not much time!” - interjecting HIMSELF, not letting people absorb messages being communicated. FAIL!
Ron Paul’s great — Gives the R’s a good message, tho can’t win. Go Ron!
