Who the hell knows what the dynamic is in that household? I do find it odd that a Jew who has marched for Israel, would marry a Muslim, but despite her family tree, where is the evidence she’s devout, or an Islamic activist? There’s nothing that holds together this theory aside from a lack of sophistication. Is it really news for a Muslim man to take the side of the man, and shame the victimized woman? Is there a Muslim cleric who would sanction a secret conversion? You don’t understand Islam if you think so.
And fasting on Ramadan amounts to eating one meal a day for dinner...big deal...it’s a nice courtesy not to eat a cheeseburger in front of your Muslim girlfriend/wife, isn’t it? It doesn’t equate “secret Muslim convert”, it just means that the reality of intermarriage requires one to partake in certain harmless aspect of a tradition. Ramadan for a Muslim is more involved than fasting.
They might make an exception for lesbians in sham marriages if they are advancing an anti-Israel agenda.

A bigger question is: Are they really married? Remember the part of the ceremony where the priest, minister, judge, justice of the peace, captain of the ship says, “by the authority of xxxx and the state of xxxx I now pronounce you husband and wife”?
By what authority did Bill Clinton have to marry them? to marry ANYBODY? He’s an ex-President (of dubious moral authority). He’s NOT a minister, or a judge. In fact, he had his law license suspended for lying under oath.

I do know that, in Islamic tradition, a father can give permission for a daughter to marry outside her faith. Better for her to be married at all, then to be dependent upon the family forever is along the lines of that thinking.

So my take on this is, these are just two opportunistic, large egoed political types and their "religion" is in no way part of their thought processes.
If Huma was to ne subject to any Muslim retaliation, it would have happened a long time ago for a different reason, as a father/brother/uncle witnessed her rise in the way of life she chose many more years ago and before her marriage.

Doesn’t seem to be any religion that would allow Bill to marry them was involved, so I am assuming neither of them practices any religion in reality.

Getting caught requires the other spouse to make a public play for sympathy, yet still support their elected partner to ensure the kingdom’s hold on power.
