MILWAUKEE Chaos on the school bus and the I-Team catches it all.
Our story starts with a fed up mom. She says her little girl who is only 4 years old is hit, tormented, her glasses broken by other kids and that it happens all the time.
She says MPS hasn't done anything about it so I- Team reporter Rob Koebel takes the case and wait till you see what your tax dollars are paying for now. A school bus ride that is out of control, little children in danger ride after ride. We follow the girls entire bus ride cameras rolling.
We spot bus number 83. On board -- a little 4 year-old girl. She goes to Frances Starms Early Childhood Center. But her mom says the littles girls first challenge every day is surviving her bus ride.
Ms. Edwards says, Nothing has been done Ive called the school board and the principal
She claims this small child is being tortured daily, punched, hit by other kids, her glasses broken twice and the torment has been going on for months now.
She has come home with sores and bumps and even scars up under her neck from certain things being hit on her, Ms Edwards tells the I-Team Investigators.
The mom says she has begged the school to do something but is only told she needs to get the girl new glasses.
So we decide to take a look at bus number 83 for ourselves.
We find the little girls bus loaded up and ready to roll. We are too with our video camera pointed at the windows at the back of the bus.
As the bus pulls away we follow it. Watching and waiting to see what happens...
It only takes a matter of minutes...

Why is a 4 year old on a bus?
Why does her mother keep putting her back on, day after day?
What is more important to this woman than her daughter’s safety? Her soaps? A job? Going back to bed for two hours?
My son was bullied on a bus in middle school, and the driver and the school district refused to do anything. I took him and my daughter off of the bus, and drove them to and from school every day until they each graduated. Didn’t have the option of home schooling, as I needed to keep working.
I just saw this story on another site. The most obvious thing is that the mother needs to take her daughter off that bus immediately!
The bus driver needs to be fired and she needs to sue the school, the bus company and each parent of each child on the bus. Trust me, that will get results big time.
Of course I would handle it a bit differently but I’d be sitting in jail after that. I guarantee it would never happen again though.
Where’s Dad? He should put a stop to this.
Where are the democrats when you need them. Perhaps she should call her dem congress critter for the help they promised.
Have driven my 5th grader (with special needs) to school every school day for six years now, and my 3rd grader for four. My wife picks her and her sister up every afternoon. Seriously, who is able to administer discipline to children on a school bus? The driver? Doesn’t he/she have to control the actual BUS? No thanks; my kids don’t need to spend upwards of an hour a day in some Lord of the Flies situation.
There are some very good teachers and a first class administration at the girls’ public school. Even then, there’s so much nonsense our kids are exposed to - mainly from other kids whose parents don’t give a rat’s behind. Homeschooling begins in August.
I saw the video on WTMJ 4 news last night. They filmed the bus on several different days and each time the kids on the bus were hitting on others. I can’t figure out why by the second or third day the TV crew didn’t call the cops and ask them to stop the bus and investigate.
The TV station just did the films, asked the Milwaukee School system for comments (MPS is a fraud and never fixes problems) and showed the spot on news. What was shown was criminal behavior and the TV crew or station should have got the cops on the case right away. Plus, most school buses now have cameras and that bus tape could have been seized as evidence - now no doubt erased.
That is right, a 4 year old girl in glasses causes a fight. I'd have to say that this sounds like a minimum-wage bus driver who (for obvious reasons) doesn't want to be caught 'disciplining' young kids, a school system that spends more time protesting for union benefits in the state capital and finally an argument for competition for our education tax dollar that is so easily lost in the public school morass!
She’s repeatedly placing this child in harms way. This is the mentality of the nanny staters though. “Someone’s” gotta do something about this. She feels no responsiblity as she believes the schools job is to protect and babysit from 8a - 4p every weekday. Pathetic. This poor kid probably has nightmares every night about the bus. Sundays must be gruesome because she knows it’s back on the bus tomorrow.

. ....let alone every day for months.
If this woman's spouse or boyfriend hit and bruised her 4-year-old and she let it go on, she'd have criminal charges against her as an accessory.
What the %$%$#& is wrong with this mother???
SPOILED kids grow up to become spoiled adults..
AND THEN.. some unlucky soul marrys them..
Along the way they also disrupt busses, work places and politics..
There was home schooling far before government got into the education business..
Try showing up at the school in person with a lawyer.Meanwhile, take that poor little child off that effin bus NOW!
Dad? what’s that?
My kids were raised knowing that if they ever got in a fight at school, they would be in big trouble at school and then in trouble at home. If they ever watched someone small get bullied and did nothing, they would be in much bigger trouble than if they stepped in and did the right thing. I'm convinced that my kids would have stopped this (it happened twice in their school careers, among all my kids, and I heard for years what a nice influence my kids were on their peers - no one got bullied around my children).
If my child was being hit on the bus, I would have an (initially verbal) chat with the bus driver and the parents of the bullies. If that didn't work, I would get video and prosecute the criminal actions, as well as suing in civil court. I'm not generally a fan of civil lawsuits, but I would make this VERY expensive for a school system that thought it was okay for anyone to beat on a child.
The next day, I was there at the bus stop. As soon as my son got off the bus, there were 3 boys following him, taunting him. So I went up to them and asked if they were interested in picking on someone there own size.(I'm paraphrasing myself.) They quickly put 2 and 2 together and started stammering and stuttering. I explained that from now on, not only were they to treat him respectfully, they would also be responsible from making sure others treated him respectfully...and that I knew where they lived and would gladly visit their parents if they didn't behave. Every time they looked at my son, I wanted them to see my angry, red face. (It's what dads do.) One of the boys ended up being good friends with my son.
It’s a diversity bus. What do you expect? For them to act like human beings??????
Exactly my thoughts.
An Amish girl who looks about 17 has a 4-year-old child and sends the kid to public daycare with no father in sight. The bus must be full of Amish or else this would be prosecuted as a hate crime. There is so much wrong here it’s just unfortunate that the poor kid has to be the one suffering and her life doomed due to all of the stupidity around her.
