Rep. Anthony Weiner encouraged a porn star to lie about their on-line relationship and offered her the help of his public relations team, according to a report on Tuesday.
Weiner sent emails to former X-rated performer Ginger Lee to whom hed previously acknowledged sending innocuous messages via Twitter coaching her to deny that they had been communicating, reported TMZ, which obtained the messages and says the two had exchanged scores of sexual emails over a long period of time.
The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it, Weiner is alleged to have written in a June 1 email. Have a couple of iterations of: This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I dont know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm (direct message) saying thank you for the follow. Thats it.

Not over yet!
This turkey will resign by the end of the week - probably to “spend more time with his family”, while denying he did anything wrong.

I did something terrible (and have been at it for a long time).
I lied about it and lied about it (Wouldnt you? Everyone I know would.)
Then I helped others to lie about it too (Wouldnt you? Everyone I know would.)
I am so sorry for the pain I have caused (and that I got caught).
I take full responsibility for this (whatever that means).
So now everything is OK and Im not stepping down (Im a Democrat, so its alright).

Ok, NOW is it a criminal act? Lying to the press is legal. Now if he told her to lie to anyone from law enforcement or Congressional investigations he might be in trouble. But it will need Attorney General Holder to approve the prosecution... (please, stop laughing, you'll hurt yourself).

After Weiner realized his new wife did not leave a shadow he may have been despondent over the thought of a lifetime with an anorexic skeleton and figured he'd use his power as a lauded public official to develop a road map of willing partners he could visit when needed.
He probably thinks of himself as the Tiger Woods of congress.

Weiner is not the problem, the people who vote for a dolt like this (or John Edwards) are the problem. Weiner is a RESULT, not a CAUSE.
