Everybody voted for this guy because he was cool, I said it eons ago, especially the young turk brokers and traders in NY (via Wall St ). When his tax ideas came out and they realized they were going to get hit, in company meetings it is on record one of these young turks yelled out **** Obama. He ain’t so cool anymore when your tied down by Dodd-Frank and ya can’t get a job after college. Sucks to be them.

I think everyone now knows that Obama has become a perfect repeat of Jimmy Carter's last two years as President. I think even the MSM--especially in the business press like CNBC and even Business Week--now realizes that Obama has not addressed the structural issues hampering the economy: government sucking up too much economic resources, a business-unfriendly income tax system, and Wall Street "fat cats" making profits at the expense of everyone else.

I still remember standing in line the morning of the election waiting for the doors to open at the precinct. There were four very young people in front of me talking to each other, one on a bicycle. The one on the bicycle finally takes his leave saying, “Well, I have to go. I’m a street organizer for Obama and there’s stuff to do”. My thought was, “What the hell is a street organizer?”.

If Obama loses the youth vote it bodes well for the GOP in 2012.
