I know Im going to garner a lot of bitter reactions, but I just have to question this devotion to Sarah Palin as our candidate for 2012. Am I the only one that thinks conservatives are falling into the whole cult of personality with regard to Sarah Palin much the same way the Left did with Obama? Im not comfortable with her just bailing on Alaska, shes the one that allowed Levi Johnston to knock up her daughter, and I dont want a reality TV. candidate - I want a serious conservative thinker with the stomach for policy. Id much rather have Michele Bachmann or Herman Cain. Anyhow, thats just my opinion. Let the hate begin..
It gets tiring to have to debunk it repeatedly. Especially when it was posted and discussed for weeks.
You could be right. Stupid trolls.
Wow. Thanks. I was always curious about how many are really active, although as you said it doesn’t cover those who only post every few days.
Keep in mind that it’s been 4 to 6 years ago that I read that so I’m certain there are more now. And it was an off hand comment during a dust-up over something. I remembered it because I was rather blown away by the number of posters. Then I found out how many people actually READ but don’t post. A lot of people come through here.
Geez. 20,000 active people. That is good to know. I have pissed off about two or three people here over the years arguing policy. With that many people participating, I have a good chance not the irritate the same person twice. Don't want to look like a vindictive jerk. LOL.
I see posters that I don’t recognize and discover they’ve been here for years. LOL Usually one runs into the same posters because they are attracted to the same subject matter.
Yeah. I wonder how many lurkers there are? I know my dad is a lurker. I found our about FR from him.
The front page of FR says: our forum is read daily by over one hundred thousand freedom loving citizens and patriots from all around the country, and all around the world. We’re currently delivering over thirty million pageviews per month to over one million visitors.
I'll take u off my list of hand wringers and worry *************
When she announces..and then... wins!..you and I will be on the same page...Give me a buzz when u see the light..and that's not biblical BTW..but it could be
That is all!
TARP sent our money to foreign banks and corporations as a payment of blackmail, and sunk any chance we ever had of getting out of this mess.
The only liar is you fool.
Mark Levin endorsed the king of rinos, Mitt Romney. I don’t give a sh&t was his motivation was. The FACT is he did it! When trying to refute a fact such as this, you look like both a fool and a liar.

What is “LSM”? Thanks
Plenty of people use the first names or nicknames of people that they write about, even though they don't personally know them.
It's a question of the type of item one is writing, whether it's a formal or an informal writing.
Posts are typically informal entries on a blog or social networking site. Informal names such as Mitt, Hillary, Huck, Newt, Fred, The Donald, Rush, Sean, Greta...on and on... and yes even Sarah, are all commonly used in people's posts, especially here on FreeRepublic, where such people are discussed adinfinitum. It's been that way for a long time.
But I guess now that it's "Sarah" people are posting about, it must signify something else. It must be some kind of worshiping thing dontcha know.
LOL!
I started reading FR on September 17, 2001 after someone in my Sunday School class told me that it was the best resource to get news and opinion about 9/11. Since I only had dialup until January 2010, I never bothered to register since my luddite-like connection was intermittent as best, making any form of interactivity a real ordeal.
I've got to mention that the simple, clean, layout and style of John Robinson's code was among the appealing aspects of Free Republic. Until I finally ditched dialup, I used a text-based browser, Lynx, to navigate the web. Over the years, other sites became excessively heavy on graphics and other eye-candy. You can imagine how that was on dialup! That's why I stuck with FR through the years as my go-to source for news.
Now that I finally entered the 21st Century with a high-speed, reliable connection, Free Republic remains my primary source for news and opinion. And now I can actually see the pictures! :-)
So there's a long-winded answer to your question from a one-time, longtime reader.
Oh heck! I should have known that. LOL
I like CCC and agree with his message, if not his tone.
Well then, Bye!
I’ll miss you.
Don’t diss our Miss!
Tom Servo also thinks so. His post is right above yours. LOL
