Trend forecaster Gerald Celente gives a preview of his Summer Trends Journal in an interview with King World News.
Celente says riots from Iran to Spain are the beginning of another world war, precipitated by food prices, unemployment and inequality. Last year he claimed that 2011 would bring "Off With Their Heads 2.0" and the prediction is going well so far.
We transcribed just part of one answer from his breathless interview with Eric King:
What's constant in all of these uprisings are the few factors that are undeniable. Food prices at all time highs. Unemployment at record highs. You have 18 to 28 year olds holding university degrees in worthlessness that can't get jobs. Go look what happened in Egypt. Average wage ten dollars a day, and that's if you're doing well. And you know the deal. You're smart. This is different from the old feudal age. In the neo-feudal age the people know the score.
...
What hasn't been in the news is what has happened in Spain, and that's the big news. Young people have wised up. They know the score. Those are the people that are ahead of all of these revolutions. They know that voting for either of the major parties in Spain means more of the same. It's like voting for the Gambino crime family or the Bananno crime family. And they want a third way. And they're picking up where the Egyptians left off. They're going out into the streets and they're not leaving the streets,

And the ruling elite need a distraction large enough to keep the illegal alien in the White House.
Guess that means the global economy is going to tank.
That’s the problem with the young, they won’t
accept that the old have been through the revolution
and don’t want to go through it again.
> “These revolutions are going to spread over the summer throughout Europe. By the winter it’s going to go global.”
>> “2011 ADOn May 21st, Judgment Day will begin and the rapture (the taking up into heaven of God’s elect people) will occur at the end of the 23-year great ...”
>>> “3 Nov 2009 ... Environmental Justice Foundation report says 10% of the global population is at risk of forced displacement due to climate change.”
:)
I dunno.
I can certainly see a significant segment of the Euro-whiners engaging in raucous demonstrations, but revolt?
With what? Sharp sticks? Pointy little fingers, wagged in the faces of sex-crazed bureaucrats and effete socialists?
Against what? Not receiving their welfare checks?
Pardon me whilst I chuckle here.
The single funniest thing I’ve seen out of Euroweenie land this past week are news stories of “anarchists” on the barricades, protesting for more social welfare schemes.
Savor that thought a moment, like a fine piece of properly cooked filet minion, with really good horse radish and a nice glass of smokey whisky. Then feel free to bust a gut laughing your ass off as you think about the optics on this: Some pale, pencil-necked punk with a black hoodie and a bandana across his wispy little beard, getting in the face of the riot cops, yelling for him to get more taxpayer money.
Seems to me that they’re not quite clear on the meaning of the term “anarchy” just yet.
As for spreading to the US? Ain’t gonna happen. Americans, unlike the poseurs, poofs and know-it-alls in Europe... we actually have the means to invoke real revolution here. And, to not put too fine a point on it, we have so many veterans of real war here in the US that would take kids aside and tell them “You start this kid, you’d better be prepared for the consequences - and they’re not merely getting tear-gassed by the cops” that Americans would be very slow to start an actual “revolution.”
If Americans did actually start a “revolution,” the Europeans would crap their drawers, the Canadians would close the border and the Mexican illegals would run over each other as they tried to dog-paddle the Rio Grande like they were in an Olympic swim meet.
When stocking up on food, don’t forget to buy toilet paper and ammunition.
Oh, yeah, and buy booze. Never know when you’ll need to trade for something or other.
I have no idea what “filet minion” is; but I do love a good filet mignon with sauteed mushrooms, accompanied by a glass of pinot noir. You can keep the whiskey.

Yea, typos on my part are increasing with age. I hate the reduction in the amount of text on the screen by going to a bigger font, but it appears I’m going to have to break down and just admit it sooner or later.
Pinot is OK, but I really prefer single malt with my beef. Just a guy thing.
Pas de tout, monsieur.
I think that some really smart network exec would make a reality show out of it and broadcast the whole thing straight to your living room!
Ah, yes, Anarchists for Big Government!
I had a little e-mail exchange with one of those on this side of the pond: the bloke who proposed the “Crash the Tea Party” event. It seems that this anarchist was worried that shrinking the size of government to fit within the boundaries of the U.S. Constitution as originally conceived would “hurt the poor”, but somehow thought that shrinking the size to non-existence (anarchy) wouldn’t have the same effect.
Thime to buy commodities and I am not talking gold and siver (thought those would be nice if you can efford them) I am talking food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaing supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
For those who havent prepared and would like to start or for those that have and are just interested you may download my Preparedness Manual at:
http://www.tomeaker.com/kart/preparedness1i.pdf
As the LDS say When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.
Or as the bible says: A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
NIV Proverbs 22:3
Heaven forbid that a revolution would interfere with the distribution of fresh cold beer. That would be fighting words!
Been doing all that for the last 2 years. Can’t say I have seen it coming; maybe I am just a pessimist. But it isn’t difficult to see problems ahead. Stock up, be quiet about it and get ready is about all I can advise.
