He is struck by how many USPS executives started out as letter carriers or clerks. He finds them so consumed with delivering mail that they have been slow to grasp how swiftly the service's financial condition is deteriorating. "We said, 'What's your 10-year plan?' " Herr recalls. "They didn't have one."

Oh, and when I was working for someone else? Yeah, getting caught stealing would not result in counseling. It would result in immediate termination and arrest.
Not so for the USPS.
Apparently; it is also acceptable for them to take a dump on private property if the situation arises...
“What does it say about you, that you are judging a whole bunch of people based on 1 sentence on a blog. Stop throwing stones and worry about yourself.”
Maybe because, as described by you, they are taking/planning to take what does not belong to them, and that if your Bible study can’t get past the 10 Commandments, that perhaps it is ineffective?
Maybe it’s the remedial Bible study group?
“Apparently; it is also acceptable for them to take a dump on private property if the situation arises..”
I think you may have hit on the answer as to why some of the mail disappears. Used as TP.
>>God Bless ya, cause you obviously need to take the splinter out of your own eye<<
Its that kind of attitude that allows sodomites, pedophiles, and every other type of pervert to infiltrate the leadership of churches and government today.
Bingo!
It tells me that hes not one of those who allows pedophiles, sodomites to infiltrate the leadership positions in churches and government or stands by for fear someone is going to ridicule him for standing up for Gods word. Thats what it tells me.
Ahh so now you are insinuating I DO allow “pedophiles, sodomites to infiltrate the leadership positions”
You need Jesus. Satan has a firm hold on you.
The solution is change
All the execs are letter carriers
There fore, change is not possible.
You have already told us your philosophy about not saying anything because of course all are sinners. Its seems reasonable to me that you would remain silent. But then you go and accuse us of not having Jesus in our lives. Double standard?
“You have already told us your philosophy about not saying anything because of course all are sinners.”
Well Jesus says we’re all sinners, if you don’t agree take it up with him.
You know nothing about my philosophy.
“But then you go and accuse us of not having Jesus in our lives. Double standard?”
Well I could tell you to go to hell but God will do that on Judgement Day.
The post office had no interest in following up on any of the stolen packages.
I reported all of them immediately. Each time they would not take a report for 30 days! Then they reported back, each time, the date it was shipped out.
They had no interest in upsetting their workers and stopping their ‘retirement’ scam. It’s only tax payer dollars - if the item is insured.
USPS is a FEE FOR SERVICE operation ~ purest Reaganism ~ can you imagine if we ran DOD that way? Just stop foreign shipping on the high seas and extract a fee for protection.
You only got one nasty freepmail from a postal worker?
I did better. I got a couple, increasingly angry.
It’s really too bad because I’m sure there are good, honest postal workers working in that cesspool.
Remember, every missing letter is not a sign of someone stealing. It's a sign of something, and if it happens repeatedly it certainly bears investigation.
For depredations from mailboxes the local authorities can take action.
You missed my point, and we’ll leave aside the constitutional question for the moment. My point is that you can’t privatize mail delivery unless certain guarantees are made. American citizens will not stand for a situation where a private company decides to cancel mail delivery to many areas because it’s unprofitable...or just cancels operations period leaving millions of citizens with no mail delivery. That would guarantee Democrats controlling the presidency and the congress for the next fifty years.
Yep! Thats the attitude of the kind of church I was thinking of when I read your first comment.
Yep you’ve displayed quite a bit of grace with your judgmental attitude and gossip.
In the context of the exchange, the “nothing requires a monopoly” comment was a response to a claim that it was Constitutionally required.
Retirement in the service was 20 years. Some places 25; most are 30, 50% pay.
