Sarah Palin will hit the road this Memorial Day weekend on a tour of the Northeast -- and possibly New Hampshire -- aboard a red, white and blue bus emblazoned with the words: "One Nation Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty & Justice For All."
The former Alaska govenor will began her journey Sunday from Washington, D.C., after she and husband Todd join a quarter-million motorcyclers in the Rolling Thunder event to support the troops. She'll leave the veterans and make her first stop at the National Archives, where she'll stop by to view the U.S. Constitution.
Details on where she'll go next -- and when -- are unclear, but fans and supporters will be able to follow her path on www.sarahpac.com, where the RV's progress can be tracked live. All an aide would say is that Palin "will embark on a One Nation tour of historical sites that were key to the formation, survival, and growth of the United States of America."
Antietam? Independence Hall? Gettysburg? Liberty Hall? Federal Hall? Faneuil Hall?!
And eventually, Manchester, N.H.? Stay tuned....developing....
In the anti-Palin GOP women I run across, those sweeping generalizations don't seem to be prevalent. I just don't understand it. Women do view other women differently then then men view women and this is not necessarily sexually. For example women dress as much for other women probably more so then they do for men. Its clearly a competitive thing. I have long philosophical discussions with my daughter about this. Men are for the most part are just happy to have clothes on their back, dress for either comfort or for the situation like work. (Don't even bring up color coordination my wife, mother and daughter are always amazed that I can really only distinguish reliably the 3 primary colors. They say I am not color blind but color unconscious!) I am not saying this why there is an undercurrent of anti-Palinism in GOP women, but its an observation of a feature of the different worldviews men and women have.
Aww, now... It could be true. Why not? I think/hope she’s going to run. We need someone like her to shake things up, considerably. Whether she takes the brass ring? I don’t know. I’m still not opposed to any of our candidates. See how I’m seeing the glass half full instead of half empty?
Great minds...I had done the same thing..maybe I’ll see you at Brandywine or Paoli...otherwise, I can’t imagine her missing Valley Forge :-)
Oh, they knew. They just didn’t want to know. Call them the Great Pretenders.
I think you've got a very healthy attitude there.
It's no secret that I strongly support Sarah, but I also try to speak softly of the other worthies in the field.
The unworthies - not so much.
Same here...the absolute goal has to be replacing the socialist with the best conservative candidate possible...whatever it takes...
That's the best explanation I can come up with... pure jealousy....
that is one cool looking bus
