MYFOXNY.COM - It's like a flash mob gone bad. Security footage from a Manhattan Dunkin' Donuts shows a group of youths climbing on counters, throwing chairs and throwing tables in a violent attack on workers.
It happened at the Dunkin' Donuts on Christopher Street in Greenwich Village. A $2,000 hot chocolate machine was reportedly destroyed in the attack.
Similar attacks have targeted other stores in the neighborhood in the previous weeks.
The video shows one of the teens throwing a chair and then running up to grab a donut.
A few of the attackers also grabbed drinks out of a refrigerator near the door, and they all quickly ran from the store.
Some businesses and even residents recently have complained about violence in the area. Most of the business owners didn't want to give their names for fear of retribution.
One store owner told Fox 5's Lisa Evers that some kids did something similar at his business about a week earlier than the incident at Dunkin' Donuts.
He said, "It's not safe around her."
The NYPD said it was examining the Dunkin' Donuts security footage but has not made any arrests.
In a statement to MyFoxNY.com, NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn's spokesperson, Jamie McShane says, "We will continue to work with the NYPD to make sure Christopher Street is a safe place especially as the weather gets nicer and more people flock to the area."
These idiots think they’re helping themselves? The stores in these neighborhoods will close down or move out...then they (the legit customers) won’t even be able to buy a damn coffee or doughnut.
Does not indicate whether or not the business is owned by “whitey”. Perhaps the teens are upset that another NYC business owned by “whitey” is taking their $$$.
Short of pulling a gun and shooting a couple of these kids. How in the world are they ever going to stop this kind of behavior. It would overwhelm anyone, including the local police. Some one is going to end up dead because of this.
Christopher Street? Isn’t that an homosexual enclave?
Of course the media makes no mention that these punks are a group of black thugs and that this type of behaviour is getting to be a common sight. The punks will be caught and will not be held accountable by the cowardice liberal judicaial system in NYC. And so it goes..........our best days are in the past.
It's like a flash mob gone bad. It's like reading an idiot writer.
Just another day in Mayor Bloomberg's paradise. None of the thugs was smoking, and probably no salt on the premises either.
You have just insulted brats everywhere. Take a look at the picture from the video. Questions?
I joke about the insult, but jokes are always founded in truth. You and I both know the reason why these feral animals run wild.
Race is routinely reported when it involves “whitey” - -
Otherwise, the commentators will refer to “a group of teens”,
“an angry mob”, “a rowdy bunch”, etc.
Had they been white, the media would be doing an in depth report how this unruliness is showing whitey’s hatred of a Black Administration in Washington, D.C.
Young people are told that they are just animals, there is no objective morality, businessmen are criminal, if you don’t have what you want it’s somebody else’s responsibility to provide it. Add this all together and I am not surprised that this is not 100 times more common. Well, just wait another couple years.
Leroy, Tyrone, and Lakeesha, out for an evening doughnut.
it’s all happening because their great great- grandmother was a slave. They are entitled, don’t you know.
Obama voters, What will they think of next?

Thats a Dunkin Donuts store that will soon be a sh!t-hole liquor store where the locals can buy hooch with their government welfare cards.
My brother commented the other day that every time he sees a video of a crime in progress the perp is almost always black.
“Somebody needs to get Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse involved. There must be some blatant racism by the owners of these businesses to create such an angry atmosphere!!”
Most likely will be described as coming from the corporate level. These yutes were just reacting from a breaking point of being confronted with delicious treats they have no way of legally obtaining given the hopelessness of chronic unemployment and the franchise not accepting EBT cards.
“Some one is going to end up dead because of this.”
Someone NEEDS to end up dead because of this, would be more
accurate. Actions have consequences.
That's the 'Hope' part of 'Hope and Change'.
Was that you in the video?
When I was a youth, it was called Anarchy and is the norm when the population loses all respect for each other.
This is the kind of thing we will be seeing more and more of as this nation descends into oblivion.
