Thats a Dunkin Donuts store that will soon be a sh!t-hole liquor store where the locals can buy hooch with their government welfare cards.
This is not a welfare neighborhood. This is the long since
gentrified West Village, which prides itself on being a
tourist attraction, although IMO it has turned largely
into cluster of big name chain stores. I don’t know what
Dunkin Donuts will decide about staying but until recently
this location and all those nearby were prime, prime
commercial sites. The West Village is in Manhattan for those
who didn’t recognize the name or the street. If the police
are allowing rampages on these establishments that is
truly thought provoking.
