Herman Cain leads presumed frontrunner Mitt Romney as the top choice of Republican primary voters in the race for the 2012 Presidential nomination. Among all voters, no one in a list of 13 possible GOP candidates leads President Barack Obama.

btw-— below is a link to a ditty I wrote about Herman a while back...you might enjoy the read...

They’ve been trying hard to ignore him. We’ll see what they do now that they can’t.
Krauthammer is smart, but I don’t always agree with him. At least when I don’t, I think about it.
Same thing as Sarah Palin,
if they can’t ignore a HUGE THREAT,
they’ll attempt to destroy it.
He’s already being called a “black faced racist” for not sticking his nose up ‘bummer’s bum.
I listened to Bill Bennett some on the way in, and he had Bill Krystol (sp?) now trying to pump Paul Ryan to get into the race.
The GOP establishment is starting to sound desperate.
5 are in, and I think that may be it:
Romney
Gingrich
Pawlenty
Santorum
Cain
(and no, I didn’t “forget” Ron Paul, I decided not to list any Libertarian Party members).
If it stays like this, Cain could have a legit shot as a dark horse.
This will be an ugly campaign.
Republicans never pick fresh faces. Democrats do. Obama, Clinton, Carter were all fresh faces. Republicans tend to treat the primary as a “top republican” quiz.
What things am I attributing to him that are NOT accurate.
What things am I attributing to him that are NOT accurate?
John McCain / Elizabeth Dole 2012.
Is plausible.

Foreign policy is any governor's weakest point also, yet we've elected plenty of former governors.
Really guys, if Tim Pawlenty (a former governor with not foreign policy experience) stated spouting off like an expert would you say (1) he knows what he's talking about, or (2) he has been coached well.
We're so used to politicians PRETENDING to know the answer to every question, that we forget that that's all they are doing: pretending.
Is it possible to be too redundant when dealing with Paulist?
See I told you you should have used ‘spam monkey’ in your reply!
Your political analyst skills are weak if you’re leaving people off that you don’t like, especially when they’re ahead of most of the people on your list.
These 5 can win the nomination - Palin, Romney, Gingrich, Paul, Bachmann
The others can’t. They just aren’t well known enough, and Republicans don’t vote for fresh faces.
Giuliani was in the NH poll, got a respectable 6%. He, too, could win. He probably wouldn’t, because his ideas are unpopular, but he’s well known enough.
Where, Cain threads? I happen to think that Palin romps if she runs btw.
What did I say about Cain that was not accurate?
Anything?
Got anything on that one yet?
The Paul folks have had a meeting or memo go out- “elite” and “elitist” are the new buzz words to throw out there.— Compare him to Romney— use terms like “Establishment” and “Country Club”—
this is their attempt to try and squash support from tea party folks...
the sad thing is that for a bunch of liberty lovers, they sure like the same tactics as the progressives! Not to mention that they would even begin to think that tea party folks are UNINFORMED and would actually fall for this tripe...
Cain is NOTHING like Romney— other than being successful in business—
Now— don’t get all upset truthfreedom— you folks are just too transparent... I actually like Ron Paul— in fact, you can thank ME that when he speaks on camera that more folks are listening to what he is saying- instead of being distracted by two squirrels fighting for a nut on his forehead....Yes— I called his office years back and begged his PR gal to trim his eyebrows!! two days later he was on air without the squirrels....I have been in politics and PR long enough to know that rodents are not an accessory...
I think it is great that you are out there doing what you can for your candidate— This is exactly what you SHOULD DO! It is a great American thing to do! But maybe you and your fellow spammers should understand that we are just as passionate about our guys or gals. ATTACKING with FALSEHOODS is not a wise tactic...you will burn bridges....
make the case for your guy— point out where he is stronger or better....WITHOUT trying to attach words or impressions that are inaccurate.
I must admit that you are smarter, wiser, and more congenial that some of your friends though— and I do appreciate that....but don’t let ya’ll turn into those Palin supporters that are willing to trash Bachman out of shear fear....
;-)
>>The only way Zero won his legislative and Senate positions was to smear his opponents until they backed out so he could win by default.<<
In the early going, Rush pointed out that teh wan had his machine “clear the field.”
What was amazing was to see that machine ramp up to national level and clear hillary from the field as well. Then the dirty tricks started in on McCain but he was too blind and/or slow-moving to see what was up until it was too late.
