1 JUNEAU, Alaska A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.
2 "In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself," Frank Bailey told The Associated Press.
3 Palin's attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story. \
4 "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president;.......

Equals bribe, or payoff. No one serves the public, they only rob them.
Can you say what ever happened to Scott McClellan?
Expand your circle of friends, good advice for anyone.
Then they can vote for Obumer or stay home, that is the choice they will have, get used to it, the people will not accept another GW/Romney One World Order clone.
Palin gave multiple reasons for quitting in her announcement. One was this (paraphrased but I can get the actual statement and it will mean the same)...
I am not going to run for re-election. Therefore I an now a lame-duck governor. Lame-ducks just waste taxpayers' money on useless trips. The people of Alaska deserve better. I quit.
Now, aside from the fact that a governor with a full year and a half to serve is not a lame-duck, she is left to explain why she felt that her only option as a governor who had a full year and a half to go has to automatically act like a pig without ethical regard to her constituents or their tax dollars
. Further, if having a year and a half left means that it's time to walk away, what would keep her from foing the same in the WH?
Finally, when asked by Bill O'Reilly to explain why she quit, she said nothing about the lawsuits and only re-iterated the lame-duck nonsense.
This will kill her in any debate.
Strange, you seem to enjoy them, why would your friends not? Maybe you don't really have any friends other than a few clones of you on FR.
Does all of that REALLY matter to an MSM and a Democrat opponent/party that doesn’t care a danged bit for the truth?????
Remember - the Republicans are the limp-wristed cowards that refuse to engage in a meaningful way even when the truth is out there for all to see.
The Dems are the party of attack with anything they can find or make up.
And they WILL portray Palin as a quitter. Guaranteed. And there WILL be voters who buy the propaganda - regardless of your cut-and-paste pontificating to the contrary.
I never said she didn’t have good reasons for her resignation, thank you very much. Posting these excerpts TO ME does not change what the liberal world is going to do - so maybe redirecting your efforts might be in order.
They stayed in office, the country did not implode and his Presidency wound up being salvaged, by definition. (Debatable but true)
Palin could have easily done the same thing but did not even try. Which is why the issue will prove to be her greatest undoing as a candidate. The details of Troopergate as well as several other of her ethics irregularities, will also resurface and be analyzed around the clock.
This is what can be expected from a Palin candidacy and Sarah Palin knows this better than many realize. It will most likely wind up another disaster like her failed term as Governor.
Unfortunately, it's not a very profound response. So far as I can decipher your point, you're basically responding by denying what I said by agreeing that with what I've said but saying it doesn't matter even though it does (or something like that); or you invoke the dreaded Mitt Romney.
It's why I don't take you folks seriously anymore.

Good point I guess. With that being said, where were they going to get the income for all the frivolous lawsuits that were raining down on them by the libtards?
It's why I don't take you folks seriously anymore.
Well, now. 'You folks' is it? How condescending and congruent with the left's attitude toward anyone who supports the Republican conservative, Sarah Palin. You obviously have no interest in anything but continuous sneering dismissal of Palin and those who would like to see her run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012. So be it. That's what political forums are for. However, I firmly believe that, if she chooses to run, Sarah Palin will triumph - without your approval.
I fully expected Rachel D’Oro’s name to be attached to this mess of an AP article. Instead, they assigned a third stringer to do the hit job.
Including Jim Robinson.
Most of us know she's biding her time; and will announce when she's ready.
What's the hurry? It's not as though (like T-Paw) she has to make up for lost time to gain name recognition, or needs to worry about raising money.
Besides, it's fun to watch all the Beltway-annointed RINOs self-immolate like mosquitoes on a bug-zapper, even before they get one-tenth the concentrated hate which Sarah deals with on a daily basis.
Cheers!
No, there's also PSYCHO-FREEP and r9etb and a couple of others.
You're the only ones self-deluded enough to think that nobody has seen through you.
Out of a sense of courtesy and shrieking (and from what I have seen, changed behaviour) I will not mention another accused PDS troll, so I can honor their request to me to leave them alone.
Cheers!

She covered the resignation in Going Rogue as "The Thumping".
And the written word is what people will quote her by: a book has more credence than a speech, as people realize a political situation such as a resignation is a volatile time, and you might be more guarded right when it's happening than later.
And most people have seen her get blamed for everything from the Giffords shooting to global warming, so the attacks lose their punch after awhile.
Kind of like Obama's saturation broadcasting about bin Laden.
Cheers!
