Bullshit yourself.
The book was written months ex post facto and is, as are all such works, a re-writing or spinning explanation.
I do find it telling that you are actually making an argument that Palin might not have really meant that which she said in the speech that she set-up (not some trivial, impromptu remark)and wanted to modify her story later.
And, since she gave her "lame-duck" excuse to BOR well after the book why did she use that story instead of the one you want to believe? Did she forget what she wrote?
But, you are on to something...her history is full of these "what I really meant was..." moments.
