SEATTLE - A man was stabbed repeatedly with a fork then punched during a large disturbance involving more than 50 people early Sunday in Seattle's International District, police said.
Seattle police were dispatched to the scene, outside a restaurant in the 500 block of Maynard Avenue South, at about 2:35 a.m.
There they found 50 or more people spilling onto the street from the restaurant, all pushing and shoving each other. It was unclear if all of them were involved in the disturbance, or had come out to watch.
The restaurant staff locked the doors after everyone spilled out, preventing anyone from coming back in.
One officer spotted a bloody victim pinned against the locked door and saw another man punching him. The officer jumped in and stopped the assault.
After the suspect was in custody, it was determined that the victim had been stabbed repeatedly with a fork inside the restaurant.
A preliminary investigation found that the suspect attacked the victim after he saw him dancing with a woman at another nightclub, and the suspect took offense, police said.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which included fork stab wounds to his head, hand, and other areas.

Paging Elaine Benes. “Maybe I’ll just jam a fork in his forehead.”.
Then only criminals will have forks!!
I had idiots screw with me all the time in school. One day they went too far at mealtime and I had to educate them on that point. Apparently when you stab someone in the hand who keeps messing with your food, makes them scream and cry.
They also don’t do it again.
The movie Judge Dredd: “Does it come with a fork?”
hahaha,,, of course not!
Note to self never ever under any circumstance accept an invitation from packrat to dinner
Just remember it is NOT my fault.
I’d have used my American Airlines stainless steel spoon instead.
I blame the SporkWeasel.
One woman’s dancing with the wrong guy caused a 50-person riot, a bloody attack, and the closure of a restaurant? She must really be something!
Or Eris has been throwing those apples around again.
one more reason to avoid airports .. never ever eat off someone else’s place or bad thingz could happen.. unless they give you some or say Go ahead, grab it if you can.
uhh place=plate
And you are familiar with this goddess...?
And here I thought that you led a quiet, gentle life.
"Did you throw a trident?"
You kidding? I’m her favorite chew toy.
Oh, I guess that does explain a few things...
I’ll be a bit easier on you in the future. If you need a little serenity in your life though, get a goldfish.
