My family just had th ehonor of meeting Lt. Col. Terry Lakin at Baltimore Washington International Airport as he arrived home.
We were priviledged to assist the Terry Lakin Action Fund by helping staff the Welcome Home.
As we arrived at BWI, we got to baggage claim a few minutes before an Honor Flight of WWII vets arrived to tour the WWII Memorial. There were a few dozen of us ready to welcome Terry Lakin home so as the vets arrived, the claim area erupted in applause.
A while later, Terry arrived to cheers from the crowd of about 100. I spoke with people who had come many miles, including PA, OK, FL, VA. He seemed to be in good spirits and anxious to spend some time with his family.
Great crowd, promised protesters of course stayed home.

I forgot, Credo 2 was there too. One guy there had a copy of Jerome Corsi’s new book. He bought the last copy at the airport bookstore.

Interesting. BWI is also where one often sees American servicemen coming and going from Iraq and Afghanistan. Did you take time to wish them well or welcome them home? Perhaps you saw no need since they are obviously evil OBOTS, following the illegal orders of the Usurper in Chief. How could America have produced such swine? /sarc

I welcomed home a Vietnam vet who was with the crowd and about 100 WWII vets with the honor flight.

The man spent six months locked up yet his supporters are not the bitter ones even though Obama did finally show a digital copy of the document.
Says a lot.

Can SEAL TEAM SIX be considered heroes if they didn't demand to see Obama’s birth certificate before embarking on their Kill Osama mission?
According to some freepers, the military is obligated to disobey illegal orders by a usurper president. Doesn't that make Seal Team Six traitor/Obots?

Good luck LTC Lakin. And to the stupid trolls on this thread who have nothing but vitriol get lost.

Sad is I’ve seen similar accusations and even calls for our military to overtly disobey orders. I’ve seen people accuse our military of being “obots” for not all doing what Larkin did.

Lawful order received from their lawful military commander. The order did not come directly from The One to the Team. The military chain of command was in place. The military commanders presented the order to the Team, not The One. They do not ask where the order originated. They are only concerned that it is a lawful order. It was.

What Hulka said but this still makes the top level of the military Obots.

That was a very nice thing to do.

...even though Obama did finally show a forged digital copy of the document.
There, fixed it.

I've not seen such postings by other FReepers; I'll have to take your word for it. Central to this issue is that all orders received and delivered by officers in the U.S. military are expected to have passed muster before the U.S. Constitution. No one I have spoken with has condemned any officer for assuming the orders they received, delivered, or fulfilled were lawful in the eyes of the Constitution. In the same breath, no one I have spoken with -- aside from a small group of FReepers -- have condemned any officer for attempting to vet his orders through the eyes of the Constitution. Seal Team Six did no wrong in assuming their orders were lawful. Terry Lakin did no wrong in attempting to vet the orders he received. Both are heroes.

What a wonderful reception for Terry Lakin! It was an honor and privilege to be there, with his family, when he arrived.
