A Cleveland man was attacked by a housecat Friday afternoon and the man's injuries are so severe that he had to be taken by air ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
The altercation between the man and the animal occurred at a home on CR 3182 a few miles south of Cleveland in Liberty County.
At some point during the attack, the man and the cat reportedly were injured by a knife the man was holding. The man was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center before being transported to Houston.
Game wardens Danny Diaz and Adam Broll captured the cat. It was taken to Big Thicket Animal Hospital for examination.
The man's identity is unknown at this time.

We have two cats and the mother cat has a fear of water. You get her close to the bathroom, and she locks up in your hands. I have to hold her down with both hands until the wife washes front and rear ends. Then I hold her butt and shoulders so she can wash the middle.
Now her offspring daughter does not mind having a bath. She just sits there and lets us clean her up. Then it is off into the living room in a big towel to dry off.
One time we made the mistake of trying to use a hairdryer on her. We had her on the rug in the living room. Wife turned on the dryer and that was it. Did you know a kitten can jump onto a couch, rearrange five cushions, a pillow, jump off the couch, make a 180 left, a 90 right and be out of the pet door in about 5 seconds?

Cats are amazing, aren’t they? I can just imagine what my house would look like after about 60 seconds if we had one. :)

LOL.
I’d mentioned here in forum a couple years back a what if situation where cats had thumbs.
Wondered when it was going to be used somewhere.

Now our Old English Sheep dog is a totally different story. We drained and cleaned the hot tub this weekend. My wife had to get into the cold water to reset the timer. The dog thought it was time to hot tub for her. You can’t keep her out of water.
