As much as I am now embarrassed to admit it, if you had asked me 48 hours ago whether Osama Bin Laden would ever brought to justice I would have probably answered "no." Like many Americans I had all but abandoned hope that we would ever capture or kill the 9/11 mastermind,......

I think the events of the last couple of days will bring forth a new renaossance of American pride, self esteem and narional patriotism.
The lefty dem commies should probably be worried and that couldn’t happen to a better bunch of bastards.
Maybe these leftie commie dems should think seriously about living in another country.

Loved it!
Is it really pride?
Do we have the pride to admit we’re being played like a fiddle and beat like a drum by the prince of fools?

I'm temporarily handling the Iowahawk ping list while dighton is away.
Please let me know if you want to be added to or removed from the list.
Please ping me to Iowahawk articles. Thanks. :)
I’m sorry but I don’t see anyt5hing in the last couple of days that warrants this patriotic celebration. I think obama is playing us for fools. I’m glad obl is finally roasting in hell but what did it cost us to get him? A war in Afghanistan that’s lasted about 9.5 years longer than it should have?
I think if you read the article the “pride” is partly sarcasm. Yes there is pride but he’s mocking the quick turnaround of hard leftists that are now suddenly pro-militaristic.

P.S. I was never in the military and I also say Semper Fidelis.
Thank you—i missed that...sarcasm goes a long way, but still no substitute for victory...
I thought the same thing at first too that the author was really giddy.

But what about the little woman?

My gut on this whole thing is that I’m bummed it didn’t happen before 0bama took office. Sure, I’m glad OBL is out of commision, but that it will go down as 0’s win pretty much makes me ill. I am really having trouble getting excited about it and am not connecting with the spontaneous celebrations at all. Seeing a picture of all those anti-war Democrats sitting in a situation room...I see little thought bubbles over their heads; “we have to do this, it will be great for our poll numbers.”
Agreed.

Yep, proud to be an American. Thanks B0!
