- IS ANYONE SURPRISED THAT BARACK OBAMA TOOK THE CREDIT? -
It should certainly be noted that Barack Obama continued this countrys efforts to track down Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Rat chose noted and continued vs. credited and spearheaded for a reason: Did America, the world, or the al Qaeda mastermind himself have any doubt that the United States of America would continue its relentless pursuit of this mass murderer until justice was served?
In Sunday nights speech, Obama all but claimed to have gone over the wall himself with the brave Navy Seals who carried out the daring mission. In the 3-paragraph portion of the speech explaining the killing of bin Laden, the boy king used I or my five times. The most outrageous comment was this:
Shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority.
Was he serious? Doe he honestly think anyone believes that he had to direct Leon Panetta to make the killing or capture of Osama bin Laden the top priority? This was an obvious attempt to suggest that President Bush was too focused on Iraq, and took his eye off the bin Laden ball. George Bush is on record throughout his presidency as saying that bin Laden was priority number one of American intelligence. But then again, Bush lied about everything else, why not this?
The remaining two paragraphs:
Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body. *
In an aside, Rat inadvertently listened to a question from an MSNBC pundit this morning: Do you think the killing of bin Laden will give us the opportunity to discuss the missed opportunities of the last ten years? Sadly, the attacks on George Bush, and the water carrying for Obama have already begun.
Make no mistake; Rat believes that the president gave a good speech, with the proper tone, and correctly reminded the Muslim world (yet again) that America is not at war with Islam. It wouldve been nice if he could have refrained, just this one time, from attempting to score political points.

Barack Obamas Yes we Can has become Yes I Do.
No.
Obama is going to change his name to Jack Bauer. And why not? His name really isn’t Obama anyway.
Trent Dilfer, generally cited as a journeyman quarterback at best, has a Super Bowl ring. He just happened to be at the right place at the right time with the powerful Baltimore Raven defense and a superb running offense. He didn't engineer the win but he didn't blow the game over the Giants in Super Bowl XXXV.
O'Bambi's basking in the glow of the successful mission is unseemly and unpresidential. Dilfer at least has the class to be humble and self-deprecating about his limited role in that game.
...quite unlike the current illegal _resident at 1600.
People should remember how BO gives Bush all the blame for the economy and none of the credit for Bin Laden.
A small. petty man.
Did Senior Military/Intelligence Officials Overrule President Obama Regarding Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden?
by Ulsterman in Issues, May 2, 2011
A reluctant American president who was ultimately overridden by senior military and intelligence officials to finally take out terrorist Osama Bin Laden
Note: This communication came from our long time D.C. Insider and details previous and ongoing conflicts surrounding the decision to assassinate terrorist Osama Bin Laden. This has been reproduced here as originally communicated to us.
He did take a huge personal political risk by signing off on this op. But he would have been taking a significant personal political risk by not going forward with it.
What should not be overlooked is that he took a huge political risk on behalf of the U.S. This op could have easily gotten way out of hand and ended with gigantic negative consequences for us and the whole region.
Were we expecting honorable behaviour from the princess boy.
Who else would be treating the corpse of a muslim mass murderer with such reverence?
Are the millions of ‘good’ muslims pleased that Obama honored this killer?
We are living in the cuckoo’s nest these days.
“He has the courage of a little girl.. “
That’s an insult to little girls—let’s try cockroach.
"Thats an insult to little girlslets try cockroach."
I've killed but one cockroach in my life thus far, but let me assure you, he gave a good account of himself. When he knew it was hopeless, he charged me frontally as if to frighten me or at least die nobly. The expert who examined his body told me he was a very old roach. They had a greatest generation there.
Plugs: "Huh?"
The Proven-Ineligible Impostor: "Just like TV. But, I'll take credit."
Gates: "Kill that SOB."
HC: "Why did the Kenyan-Muslim-Impostor wait so long again?"
Brennan: "Jihad is holy. This is sooooo wrong."
Do you remeber seeing Obama play 'soldier' at Dover AFB?
