Guess who came to brunch?
The hockey mom herself, Sarah Palin, attended Tammy Haddad's annual White House Correspondents Dinner brunch on Saturday.
The former vice presidential candidate was immediately enveloped by a large crowd on a patio after making her entrance with Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren. Palin spent some time posing for pictures with both Dems and R's alike.
About an hour later, she took off with Van Susteren.

Having a Hillary campaign operative playing a role in the campaign of a GOP candidate is an issue that anyone who does not have their head in the sand should be concerned with. You can dismiss such concerns with simple name calling, but that does not diminish them. When news came out that Mitch Daniels has a campaign organization in waiting, many on this site rightly expressed concern over the presence of former Bush supporters on the team. Are you going to argue that having former Bush supporters on the team is a concern, but having former Hillary supporters on the team is not??? Let’s at least try and aim for a minimum of consistency.

That’s a new tagline as of last night. It used to be “Palin 45 Resistance is futile, prepare to be liberated” and I never got a comment on it! I liked that one.

I'd bet you'd wear a pink shirt if Sarah asked! Are you kidding? I'd wear pink underwear if Sarah asked!

She went unexpected into the vipers den of the hoytee toytee K-Street and DC Politik Apparatchiks. That take Cohones my friend.
And let's not forget - she was the only potential GOP candidate with the cohones to go to Madison for the Tea Party. She knew there would be a massive effort from the left to shut her down; then she proceeded to make a speech that knocked it out of the park!

Palin herself has often spoke positively of Hillary. Given that Hillary is not much different than Obama ideologically, this should be a concern. I took it as gender solidarity sort of like Holder and "his people."

Greta has made numerous statements that her husband has not and does not work for Sarah. That was a lie spread by the media.

If we as Americans wish to have a 1st woman President, lets at least pick a looker. We’ve got a looker here and a savey one too. Just think how we can improve Mt Rushmore. She’d also be the best looking President we ever had. I’d vote for here. If she picked Alan West as VP I’d vote early and often, well, that’s if I can find out how its done via my Democrat friends. (OMG, I had to admit that?)

Perhaps you should ask pissant himself.

I have not doubt that it is, but conservatives should base their political solidarity on principles and values, not race and gender. I really despise identity politics no matter who practices it.

Love the Gadsden Flag graphic! I have two flying on my property, one by the house and one by the freeway, and a license plate on the front of my truck.
I'm glad that Ms. Palin is spreading a conservative message to the other camp. Wonder if Greta will fully convert one day.

"Not too crazy about Van Susteren - she's a liberal through and through, and not very bright as well..."I have heard Greta defend conservative lines many times in recent years and, although I am not a great fan of hers, she is quite smart. She was known as an able attorney.

Perhaps you should ask pissant himself.pissant is a man? That's news to me.
I think I'll pass. I try to avoid those who use this conservative forum as a venue for spewing their criticisms of one of the most conservatives voices in America. If I was seeking that interaction I'd go to DU.

Thank you. The gratuitous trashing of pissant really says more about the people doing the trashing than it does anyone else.
