(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
“The rest of us will go merrily on our way secure in the knowledge that cases are fought over far less every day.”
How many times does the Supreme Court have to refuse birthers before birthers will get the idea?
How many states have to disagree with your definition (right now it is 50 out of 50) before you will take a hint?

OK, I spent the last two hours trying to find my original BC. I see it has my mothers finger prints and my footprints.
I haven’t see this in ANY copy of the anointed ones BC. My mother could prove I was hers by the prints. This was issued from the State of Indiana. Anyone see any prints???

As many as it takes for them to actually hear the case rather than ignore the problem.

Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States:
“ No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. ”
The grandfather provision of the “natural born Citizen” clause provided an exception to the “natural born” requirement for those persons who were citizens at the time of the adoption of the Constitution. (The first several Presidents prior to Martin van Buren as well as potential Presidential candidates such as Alexander Hamilton were born as British subjects in British America before the American Revolution and this grandfather clause would cover them.)[1]
Additionally, the Twelfth Amendment states that: “[N]o person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.” The Fourteenth Amendment does not use the phrase “natural born citizen”. It does provide that “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

According to Indonesian law, Obama was too old to become an Indonesian citizen through adoption:
Law No. 62 of 1958, Law on the Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia
Article 2.
(1)A foreign child of less than 5 years age who is adopted by a citizen of the Republic of Indonesia acquires the citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia, if such an adoption is declared legal by the Pengadilan Negeri at the residence of the person adopting the child.

Of course I realize that. That’s why I said there were only four numbers separating his and the Nordyke one and he WAS born before Nordyke and has a number AFTER that one.

Oh, for crying out loud, does that mean I’m not a “natural-born citizen,” as my Dad didn’t become a citizen until about a year AFTER I was born, even though I was born in the First State to ratify the Constitution and to a mother whose lineage goes back to some of the original Quaker settlers of the area?

Do you realize that every birth certificate is an abstract? Here is the CDC U.S. STANDARD CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH. This is the information that the hospital sends to the state. Note that there are two pages of information that are for administrative purposes and never appears on the Birth Certificate.
