A transgender woman brutally beaten at a Baltimore County McDonald's spoke out on Saturday, saying that the attack was "definitely a hate crime" and that she's been afraid to leave the house ever since.
"They said, 'That's a dude, that's a dude and she's in the female bathroom,'" said Chrissy Lee Polis, who's 22 and said she stopped at the Rosedale restaurant to use the restroom. "They spit in my face."

Polis suffered cuts to her mouth and face, and said she had a seizure. She also admitted she was intoxicated at the time of the assault.

Polis, who said she had a sex change operation to become a woman, said this isn't the first time that she's been picked on — physically — because of her sexual identity. She said she's been subjected to beatings and even sexual assaults.

Her twin brother, Matty Polis, who also lives in Baltimore, said it's been painful to watch his sister have to endure these sorts of attacks.

Polis, who was raised by her grandmother in Dundalk and Essex, graduated from Chesapeake High and hasn't had a job or stable place to stay for the past two years, according to her mother, Angela Thomas. Polis believes race may have been a factor in her attack.

Polis, who has a criminal record that includes charges of prostitution and property destruction, said she plans to take legal action against the restaurant.
"My record's got nothing to do with what happened in McDonald's," she said. "Anyone in my predicament should not be afraid to walk the streets. They should not have to go into a restaurant and get gawked at and made fun of. They shouldn't be afraid to leave the house. It's just wrong."

The "self protection mode" ended at the bathroom door, if there was one (there wasn't).
The 'attempted murder mode' started with the return assaults outside the bathroom, and nearly ended when they tried to drag this person outside the restaurant for what would likely have resulted in a fatal barrage of assaults.
The 'righteous indignation in court' mode is just beginning.
I believe she had a right to use the women’s restroom. The creeps who beat her deserve harsh punishment.
This is going to be the Trannies’ “Stonewall” moment.

Given the 'group' attack; 'fear' is hardly the motive; rather does appear to be a 'hate crime'.
OTOH. . .given Liberal proclivities today and just 'appearances'; how would one know what this person's situation was; or their intent? Legal or not; these folks bear some responsibility for their appearance and where they take themselves; and think they 'know' they need to be very cautious; and as well, considerate. And of course, smart. . .This woman; by her own record; seems to fail, all criteria. . .
Why not the gas station, where 'single key' available; or 'food/gas' stop where only one bathroom per customer. . even 'Waffle House'. . .Starbucks; et al ad nauseum. WHY freaking 'family McDonald's; where small children; young girls; are often alone, using facilities?
No they do not deserve to be attacked; and yes, they are legal; but as a mixed/appearance, transgendered someone; they need to be smart as well.
A drunk man in wig found inside a woman’s restroom around a young teen girl. The guy has a history of sex crimes (prostitution) and attacks on women (assault).
Not defending the severe beating...but I have to wonder if it had been a white grandma who simply smacked him a few times to get him out of there and away from the teen, if we wouldn’t all be cheering.
That alone is a felony.
Kicking someone in the head is attempted murder. The head is a very delicate instrument.

From a video posted earlier, it seems that a black guy spoke to the white transgender female, and when the white came out of the restroom she was attacked by the black girls for speaking to the black guy.
The person has apparently had a sex change operation. Your child can tell the difference between a regular person and someone with a sex change operation? And then you're going to beat them up? Very strange.
A lot of times FRs try to tow the line on being civil. I for one do not, getting violent with liberals and other freaks of nature is pay back for their politically correct BS to begin with.
