As much as I despise Jones, I despise this “jury” even more. Its a clear constitutional violation.

Where did they find authority for this in the Constitution?
To: OldDeckHand
Would this apply to sermons by imams in the mosques that incite violence? Can they be denied the right to speak out and ask for destruction of the American constitutional rule of law by promoting Sharia law?

So you can protest at the funeral of an American Soldier but you can’t protest at a stinking filthy mosque full of filthy foreign garbage.

It’s actually the jury, judge and prosecutor that are inciting violence.

What the hell is going on in Detroit? How does a prior restraint demand even get in front of a jury in the first place.

What kind of kangaroo court is this? And why can’t WE use it against Westboro, union thugs and homo parades?
‘screw ‘em, do it anyway.

And he hasn’t even held the protest yet and he’s being arrested. Incredible.
To: OldDeckHand
The jury has found that a proposed protest by Quran-burning pastor Terry Jones outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, the largest mosque in the United States, is likely to breach the peace and incite violence. So having a Quran and promoting sharia Law needs to be left alone (drum roll) to maintain the peace from the followers of the religion of peace?
Just watch the peace ensue...

This was nothing more than a kangaroo court.........so much for his (our) 1st amendment rights.
As a side note, since when does a seated judge have the right to call a trial for any individual wishing to hold a public rally?
