” threatening to push the US economy into a recession, “

For everybody outside of the Government/Financial axis, we’re already in a recession—

The word the author’s carefully avoiding (or is terrified to even think) is collapse...

Yeah, but it’s not on the TV, so it’s not really happening.

Problem is, most people won’t wake up to the reality of the situation until TSHTF. By then it will be too late.

If you haven’t already I urge you to start getting prepared now. I truely believe that time is growing short very short.

IMHO we will see within the next six months (Unkle Ike thinks I am being overly optimistic with that six-month timeline and from the look of this post he might be right!) a economic collapse much like that of Argentina’s:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH6_i8zuffs

For more information on live in a collapse economy I strongly suggest that you read Ferfal’s blog SURVIVING IN ARGENTINA: http://ferfal.blogspot.com

And remember as a armed society and one which contains a much more violent crimial and entitlement minded element our collapse is much more likely to be very violent than Argentina’s was/is. I see places big ‘blue’ cities mostly were what I call “Pocket pogroms” and you better be ready to get out and quick!

For those who would like to get started preparing I have updated my Preparedness Manual and added the following sections:

19. A Highly-Mobility 72 Hour Kit-by Ward Dorrity

55. Step by Step Earthbag Construction-by Dr. Owen Geiger

Thanks to eaker it can be down loaded at:

LOL. We never finished the current recession... unless we’re in another depression.

Don't panic now, we have quantitative easing to maintain the status quo.

“The last time this happened was in the recession that lasted from 1973 to 1975.”

That’s the Nixon years, gas lines, etc, right?

What most people don't understand is that the U.S. in the same financial shape as Greece, Italy, Ireland, Spain. We cannot pay our national debt. In face we cannot even pay the interest on our national debt. Obams’s idea for a recovery instead of cutting spending, is to print more money. This results in each dollar you have now is being devalued. Which means it takes more of our dollars to send to OPEC for oil. Ergo. We are basically just like the above mentioned sickies, forgot to mention Portugal, we are all in the same boat with them.
The only thing we can hope for is that China does not start selling all of the Billions of U.S. Bonds, as we don't have the money to redeem them either.
