From the Article: "Investigators were trying to determine the shooter's identity, the mayor said. Eyewitnesses said he had long blond hair, appeared to be about 25 years old, and wore a leather jacket with camouflage pants."
Not likely a Muzzie based upon the description, unless he's a Chechnyan or convert.

The shooter in Rio was a native Brazilian who was a Muslim convert, so I suppose it’s possible that this one was a convert, too. Or perhaps just a nutcase.
It’s hard to tell the difference between insanity and Islam.
Only citizens who are hunters, members of shooting sports clubs or legitimate collectors may obtain licenses for firearms. In the case of shooting club members they will get a license for category III weapons (a firearms category which includes all non- full automatic firearms up to .50 cal.). Possession is generally limited to 5 firearms per license. Collectors may obtain a license for any category of firearm, including full automatic arms, but stringent rules apply to achieving collector status. There is no limit to the number of firearms a collector may obtain. Generally the collector license does not cover shooting these weapons.
Sale/Use is only for those age 18 or over. There are a few DOZEN gunshops in the Netherlands. Gun ownership is extremely low with only three firearms per hundred people.
Think about the behavior of some ex-smokers towards anyone else lighting up.
The key will be to find out how the person came to be in possession of such a gun in the Netherlands.

Same thing ran through my mind. Look for more of this coming in other countries as well, and followed by a quick, concerted effort by the “powers-that-be” to start the call for banning civilian ownership of guns. Especially Brazil, with a Castroite communist idiot (Lula) running the country - look for him to do a Chavez-style roundup any day soon (the fortunate thing that may deter it is in the Favelas, though - his armed thugs go in there to try to disarm folks, and they’ll get slaughtered).

Well, gee ain’t that a nice cheap shot from a Dutchie-Dutchie-Dutchman, whose grandparents were probably liberated by Americans (my Father being one of those Liberators). Ya gots “surrender” in yer pink panties there instead of “manhood”, Dutchie, and it shows.
Ironically, he also said no one in the Netherlands had guns and, because of that fact, they never had shootings like the ones in the USA.
