I hope it rains.
“long-planned family trip” means “I gotta get outta town ‘till the heat cools off”.
His job would have been in the house.
Hope it’s not closed, Odumbass
what meanie would begrudge the first family a
“long planned trip”?
hmmm?
break out the ice cream and cheeburgers
So he’ll shut down the government to get out of having to spend time with the family and go golfing instead.
This guy has gotten by his entire life without doing any real work. He knows that the media dare not mention that because it would be “racist” to raise the possibility that he is “lazy”. Lots of vacations, plenty of golf, lots of out-of-town travel to give meaningless speeches. It’s remarkable how little time he spends at the office.
I'm old enough to remember when Williamsburg used to be a really nice, safe place in the 1950's. You could walk without fear at night on Richmond Road and Duke of Gloucester Street. Even the Greyhound Bus depot wasn't bad at all.
Now Zero and his thug entourage are destroying what pleasant memories remain of Williamsburg.
They need to be sure he visits the stocks, and tries them out, (and loses the key.)
Good grief; all these grifters do is vacation.
Swine.
What a crock. It’s a federal park — it’ll be closed that day. He wants to be one of the people crying outside the gates ‘cause they couldn’t get in ‘cause of the mean ol’ Repubs shut down the government.
It's rather funny that he is known for voting "present" while he was a senator because he really isn't. His legacy nickname will be The Vacant Pres(id)ent.
Obama Vacation to Williamsburg will kill thousands of children and deny medicine for the elderly.
Imagine the costs of his security and technical needs.
I bet it’s over $100,000 every time he golfs.
Williamsburg would be higher.
Yes, well, it’s been at least 10 days or so since he got back from spring break in Brazil.
He doesn't want to be anywhere around when his homeys get nasty.
Am I wrong, or is most every trip they take “a long planned family trip.”
I’ve heard those words several times.
So he's so concerned about the 45 families that have plans to visit Yellowstone Park this weekend because the mean Republicans are shutting down the government; and because of this all the roads in Yellowstone, I guess, must be shut down. (For those who haven't been there, Yellowstone is about the size of Rhode Island. There are several hotels which may be government run there, but they are hardly free. Ditto, the restaurants. The only thing visitors, who do pay a nominal fee to visit the park, get for free is advice from ranger stations, or at least that's all I got.)
But what of those families that have plans to visit Williamsburg? (The last time my family was there just happened to be coincident with the Masters.) They are SCREWED. I doubt any hotels will be providing refunds to families frustrated by restrictions the Obama family visit will impose upon their movement in Williamsburg this weekend.

Is this where he and Michelle will vehemently reminisce about their ancestors being enslaved? Just guessing.
