This could easily turn into a small (or large) disaster. It could last long enough or have such a clearly negative outcome that it becomes an election year issue.
If that happens then Gingrich and Palin both took it off the table by getting out in front and opening their yaps, calling for intervention before we had any idea who the bad guys are.

So, people intending to overthrow their government are being attacked by that government and we help those overthrowing their government. I thought Obama said we would not be doing that?
