I remember as a child visiting relatives on their farm and marveling that kids my age were driving the farm equipment. I thought it was really cool.

The last time I saw a sign in a manure spreader it said “Obama Wealth Spreader.”
This was in California, too! (On Hwy 152 EB, between I-5 and US 99)

"It is illegal to operate a tractor on public roads without a valid drivers license, unless the activity is authorized as farming use." California has a similar exception. If someone engaged in farming operates an "instrument of husbandry" it is legal to be on the roads even if the drivers license is suspended. I think a lot of states have a similar exception in their vehicle codes. I realize in the case in Wisconsin that the moron was not engaged in farming at the time he was driving the tractor. I'll leave the opinion as to whether or not he will be prosecuted to the experts.

Tractors and other farm equipment are common sights on most Wisconsin two-lane roads. Outside the cities of course.

My wife gets mad if I try to operate my “intrument of husbandry” in public.

If there was manure in the spreader he’s got a case.

Well I guess that makes it complete: a manure spreader outside of the Capital, manure spreaders inside it too.

Well, ya got a point there. If he was spreading manure, it’s no different than what the Unions and the Democrats are doing.

"My wife gets mad if I try to operate my instrument of husbandry in public." Yeah, sometimes wives just don't have a sense of humor.

he chugged around the Capitol Square in Madison on a tractor pulling a manure spreader.Fits the picture of a drunk driving alcoholic democrat drug addict.

I remember it well; I was a 3rd year law student in DC at the time (1979). The farmers came from as far away as Missouri and even Colorado, and would do things like block outbound traffic on the 14th Street Bridge every so often. They had been in town for 4 or 5 months.
They agreed to plow the streets after it snowed 28 inches in 24 hours over the George Washington’s birthday holiday weekend. Congress voted them a small relief bill in thanks and they left town.

seems this will only happen during/in front of camera reports.
These people are just union thugs trying to confuse piss poor teachers or public employees with farmers.
