Brit supporters? Last time that I checked, the brits were our most stalwart allies and had been for over a century. What is your problem with the English?

Well isn't that weird. I just continually get stunned by all the Prince William, Prince Harry, and Queen of England supporters. Not ELECTED?

How undemocratic!

” I mean, if I went around sayin’ I was an empereror just
because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me they’d
put me away!”

Funniest. Line. Ever.

LOL...it made me laugh just reading your writing.

Thank God for Monty Python and the Holy Grail. When I need a laugh, it never fails!

The funniest thing to me, that I never noticed until many years after I had seen it for the first time, was the scene where Sir Bedevere is helping the crowd determine if the woman is a witch or not. In the scene, he keeps lifting his face guard, and it never occurred to me that it was because the bars on it went right over each eye!

Here he is, the most learned of them all, and he has a face guard he can't see past!

I don’t know why, but I remember it as, “What, some watery tart threw a sword at you, and that makes you king of england?”

Is there more than one version?

“DENNIS: Well you can’t expect to wield supreme executive power
just ‘cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!”

Never mind - I see it in your qoute.
