“It’s outrageous,” said Sumner, a senior citizen who was making a pit stop to buy soda, ice cream and cake for a party she was throwing.
“I feel like I am getting fleeced and taken advantage of. I don’t buy meat anymore. I can’t. It’s too expensive.”
The price index for groceries is expected to surge 3 to 4 percent nationally this year, according to the US Dept. of Agriculture.

Even with my wife and I and our seven children it will still take a while to eat the whole thing as well...but we might start another one this spring to butcher the following fall (2012) if food really starts to go up. Either the animals eat the grass or I have to mow it...I prefer not to mow.
Grass fed cows are healthier from what I have heard and the meat is leaner as well. The extra benefit is that I know what went into the animal as well.
This is just the beginning in terms of hyperinflation plunging the U.S. and world into a full blown depression. Those bankster crooks who fleeced the American tax payers out of trillions under the mask of tax-funded ‘bailouts’ are sitting pretty, for now.
