She has yet to hire additional staff to make a political play. And the contrasting 2012 storylines today serve as good a reminder as any recently of just how far Palin is from running for president.

She’s in a celeb-feud with Kathy Griffin, who is pretty transparently using the conflict to promote her coming Broadway performance.

imagine that. She’s “feuding” with a woman who stated she hates Palin and will ridicule her daughters and now is playing a caricature of Palin on Glee.

You have serious issues with beautiful, strong women who are not afraid to challenge the party hierarchies or the status quo. Sarah is successful and stands a real chance of becoming POTUS unlike your preferred candidates. Not a one you mentioned is in the top tier which is Mitt, Huck, Sarah, and maybe Pawlenty.

Palin isn’t involved in “fueds”, she’s defending herself and her family when attacked. She hasn’t started one of these things.
How ridiculous. Bachmann is stronger, more beautiful, and a helluva lot more conservative. ANd unless DeMint steps in to run, she and Cain are my choices for President.

Reagan was right for his time, but it was a different time. Maybe Palin is right for this time, maybe not. I don’t know yet. No one knew Reagan’s greatness before it happened. She still didn’t start any of it. Defending yourself or your family is not a crime or a personality disorder.
BTW, you do more FOR Palin on this board than any supporter of hers. Keep up the good work.
No one knew Reagan’s greatness. But they knew his unbridled conservative message, which he had honed since 1964. They knew two successful terms in the state of CA. And they knew he was the leader of the conservative wing of the party and a fantastic speaker. Considering Palin supports the feminist, federal government, powergrabbing boondoggle (Title IX) which Reagan tried to kill (but whose veto was over-ruled by the dems and RINOs) and she ignorantly supports the sovereignty usurping UN power grab (LOST) which Reagan did kill - temporarily - let’s look for someone who at least understands what Reagan stood for.
I don’t know who I want to support yet. So far, every Republican that seems electable has some negatives. However, you are not helping your cause. I know you won’t believe this, so go ahead, continue to not help your cause. And good luck!

I’m a huge Palin fan, but I like and support other consrvatives too. Pxxxxxx’s posts wouldn’t bother me if they were being done constructively, so we could all learn and get better. But they are all snide, venomous and 100% devoted to dragging Palin down no matter what the truth of the matter. Yup, he has become a huge distraction, you can’t open a Palin thread of any sort without being sucked into his nasty vortex.
Huh? As a polished politician, Palin should have just said she had no comment on Kathy Griffin, and that she would like to stick to substantive issues. Calling into question my objectivity and logic was unnecessary, whoever you are.
These Palin cultists are basically Obamabots in terms of their refusal to look critically and see the faults of Palin as both a conservative and a candidate for President. I guess I don't see why it's such a bad thing to try and vet all potential GOP candidates for 2012. Romney and Newt aren't even worth discussing, because nobody on FR (well, hardly anybody) sees them as ideal candidates, and those that support them should be purged.
If Palin wins the GOP nomination, I will back her 100%, unlike the 50% support I gave to McLame. Until we have a nominee, however, what is wrong with people trying to promote “their” primary candidates, even if it means pointing out potential weaknesses in rival candidates?

I like Cain too. However, neither of them have the National, much less International, exposure that Palin has.
