The way David Gregory was carrying on during today's Meet The Press, you would have thought that he was irked by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's revelation of only 105 thousand dollars in secret ObamaCare funding instead of the actual astounding 105 BILLION dollars. A clearly irritated David Gregory kept insisting that he only wanted to stick with "narrow budget questions" and acted increasingly frustrated as Bachmann kept returning to the 105 BILLION dollars of hidden ObamaCare funding that he did not want to even briefly talk about.
Here is a portion of the interview of a clearly upset David Gregory as you can see in this video who obviously did not want to deal in the slightest with Bachmann's revelation which would have been major news to the viewing public as well as a more detailed transcript below the fold:
REP. MICHELE BACHMANN: ...There was a Congressional Research Service report that just was issued in February, and we discovered that secretly, unbeknownst to members of Congress, over $105 billion was hidden in the Obamacare legislation to fund the implementation of Obamacare. This is something that wasn't known. This money was broken up, hidden in various parts of the bills. And we have worked very hard to discover $61 billion in cuts that we could put forward, get to the president. So, in effect, David, we've taken one step forward and two steps back because we've found now that $105 billion had already been implemented.
MR. GREGORY: All right. But that--but, Congresswoman, you heard the president this week offer...

At some point you just have to wonder if they will goose-step right of the cliff one after another before they admit how wrong Obama is for this country?
The prop was needed to insure that Liberal Viewers understood.
Never. We will lose if we do. Stay on offense. If we are not on offense we will be back on our heels, answering "have you stopped beating your wife?" questions.
Because it is just about to bloom like staphylococcus on a Petri dish.
After this interview (which was brilliant, by the way), Michelle Bachmann will have every member of the commie swarm calling her the anti-Christ.
David Gregory is married to the former General Counsel of Fannie Mae. His family has made millions off taxpayers.
I knew his family had contributed heavily as a couple to bamster, but no idea his wife was connected to Fannie.
How can anyone regard anything these people say as impartial?
“Hooray for Michele Bachmann! She is wise to the ways of DNC Dave and refused to play his game. “
I hope she gives schooling to other Republicans on how to deal with the lameStream Media.
I suspect she will...
I am REALLY starting to warm up to this Lady. She’s got guts... and, believes what she’s saying.
“...His family has made millions off taxpayers...”
Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say: “his family bilked the American people out of millions...”
Boehner and the rest of the GOP are searching for their gonads with both hands and a mirror and coming up “empty handed” in my non-expert opinion. What do you think?
I have no use for Gregory. He lives as an openly gay man...so, good for him.
Years ago, I received a one day training session on dealing with the news media from a prominent East Coast pr firm. Michelle Bachmann is following their method to a T. Go into the interview with your own agenda firmly in mind, and no matter what the question is, keep drilling home your own agenda. Without exception. Way to go, Michelle!
She should take on franken the next time around.
“We elected this gal. Almost makes up for Humphrey and Franken....”
So, you are a 6th District MN voter too? Hooray for Michele Bachmann. She’s a rock star in the 6th District. Of course, liberals hate her, and the newspapers are constantly trying to deflate her image by badgering her over anything and everytihng. She’s just oo bright for them.
Keep exposing Michelle.
David WHO??
The entire interview was so Greggy could ask her if her calling 0bama a “gangster administration” and “un-American” could be twisted as racist.
I call Gregory Ape Man.
I was also a little disappointed in Michele this morning.
She looked good, she was calm and poised but she did the Texas Two Step.
Granted his questions were all gotcha ones and granted he tried to interrupt her, but she used the dem tactic of never answering questions and just pounding that point.
I feel she could have done both; answered his questions—they weren’t that hard and kept returning to her point if she felt she must.
I was also disappointed that she pointedly did not defend Boehner when asked twice about it.
Boehner is a good guy and we don’t need internecine battles among Republicans, which is what Gregory was so obviously trying to start.
Gonna have to give her a B minus on the interview. I like her but ...
