Moore: "America is not broke"

Madison - "America is not broke," filmmaker Michael Moore declared in a speech to pro-labor demonstrators Saturday at the state Capitol.

"The country is awash in wealth and cash," he said. "It's just not in your hands."

He said wealth has been transferred "in the greatest heist in history" from the workers to the bankers and the super-rich.

"Wall Street, the banks and the Fortune 500 now run this Republic," he said.

Moore called Gov. Scott Walker "your soon to be ex-Governor."

He added that there have been three major lies over the last decade:

"Wisconsin is broke. There are weapons of mass destruction (in Iraq). And the Packers need (Brett)

Favre to win the Super Bowl."

Moore said people in Wisconsin "have aroused a sleeping giant, known as the working people."

"Right now, the earth is shaking and the ground is shifting under the feet of those who are in charge," he said. "Your message has inspired people in all 50 states: 'We have had it.' "

"We are all Wisconsonites now," he said. "We are rich with ideas and talent and hard work and love, yes love."

"For three weeks you have stood in the cold, sat on the floor, skipped out of town to Illinois, whatever it took you've done it," he said. "What is certain, Madison is only the beginning."

Exactly, sbMKE! The “working people” is such a socialist/commie buzz word for the delusional far-left. This extraordinarily lucky, no-talent filmmaker surely hasn’t donated the mass sum of his wealth to this fictitious “working people” group. He’s “elite”! It’s the evil Darth Vader Capitalists who’ve fed the pigs who pay to see his crap. (Sadly, I do wish he’d be a consumer advocate for insurace customers. That might be his true calling.)

“did he buy coffee and donuts for the crowd?”

Yes, but the doughnuts...well, they didn’t make it there.

It’s difficult to take seriously an ignorant sniveling jackass, known only for his lousy films, addressing economic issues before a pack of union goons who themselves produce little other than a choking level of government debt and children who are more stupid for having attended the public schools than they were before they stepped through the schoolhouse doors.

As I read the mm quote I thought: how is money a NATURAL resource? Does it grow on trees? My mom said it didn’t when I wanted her to buy toys. Maybe it does now.

I want a money tree, mm. Get me one.

Heh. It’s funny. If Mikey were a corporate exec instead of a propaganda filmmaker, he’d be exactly the kind of guy he chases down the street with a camera.

Michael Moore should marry Cindy Sheehan...

BTW, does anyone know when she will show up in Madison to protest with the union thugs?

If Moore is saying this, it’s probably typical of what’s on the minds of most lefties. You can see what they’re thinking. They want to solve the government debt crisis by giving the govt new powers of taxation and/or confiscation.
