An ABC pilot called Good Christian Bitches has religious and womens groups up in arms over what they describe as an extremely offensive and distasteful show title.............
Still in the early stages, the pilot has not been guaranteed a spot on ABCs lineup. And though the shows title may change before it goes to broadcast, Good Christian Bitches is already causing uproar.
Christian publisher Tessie DeVore told FOX411s Pop Tarts column that the show, which features the tagline For Heavens sake, dont let God get in the way of a good story! could put Christians in an unfairly bad light......... It also could be a slippery slope for future shows, said Melissa Henson, director of communications and public education for the Parents Television Council tells Tarts.
In the past, weve raised concerns about changing language standards for television," Henson said. "Once a particular profanity or obscenity has been embraced by a particular show, it quickly becomes mainstream.
And Yana Walton from the Womens Media Center said Christians aren't the only ones who should be upset.
It is not an appropriate term to use to describe any woman, regardless of their faith, Walton said. Entertainment media, especially music and films, have been normalizing misogynistic language for years.

Do you think they’d approve a show, “Naughty Muslim Sluts”?
Won't ever happen. ;o)
In the interest of equal and fair play, how’s the pilot of “Islamic Hos I know” going? If they are going to slam one religion, why not all equally?
We all were thinking the same thing.
Rule 34 applies.
Nothing but a bunch of orcs.
Do yourself a favor and burn the television. You’ll gain a lot and lose nothing of value.
or “Mohammed, the pedophile prophet, Private Investigator” will no doubt be on the Monday night line up..
Hasn’t anyone had enough of the psychological and verbal abuse yet. Or are we so used to it, we don’t even respond?????
Katie Couric would approve as long as it was a family comedy
I proposed “Southern Women’s Group For Prayer and Combat,” but the cast was much too threatening. Even after I trimmed my fingernails ...

The comments after the article are actually fairly freeperish...people are pretty sick of this crap.
Is this hate speech?
What about Good Jewish Bitches? Or Hindu, or Buddhist, or Islamic. Or hey, Atheist — why leave them out of the fun?
This is the mindset you’d expect on a private pr0n channel, not a national general broadcast network. It will almost certainly flub.
I haven’t watched ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN in years. If all conservatives did the same these stations would be off the air.
The idea is perfectly obvious to anyone but a dinosaur media employee.
I am glad that I have not seen an ABC TV programme in over 15 years.
